North Korea's most exclusive sedan, the Horse

Some of the figures are of the SsangYong chairman

In the summer of 2006, the North Korean government magazine Foreign Trade published a photograph of a new type of North Korean luxury car known as the "horse" (the English translation is Junma or Zunma). This is a remodeled model of South Korea's first generation SsangYong Chairman H medium and large sedan in 2005, and the platform is the second generation Mercedes. Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W210), the logo was replaced by the double pigeon logo of the Pinghe car, and the logo of the hub center was also replaced. The horse was provided to senior North Korean officials for ride, and the Nampo City Pinghe Automobile Manufacturing Plant was authorized to assemble the car (CKD), which was produced in only small batches from March 2005 to 2006.

Because North Korea is a socialist country, Zama replaced some of the luxurious interiors on the original, replacing the wooden decorative panels with plastic ones and the leather seats with fabric seats. At the same time, the automatic transmission is replaced with a manual transmission.
