Walking into Zhang Huifeng's studio, the exquisite porcelain pieces are eye-catching. The luxurious and calm red obsidian glaze, the natural jasper-like pearl blue glaze, and the extremely metallic rust flower glaze. Tianmu glaze is a special member of the porcelain family, with obsidian, oil droplets, and rabbits being the most valuable, and obscurity is the first among the famous porcelain.
The firing of the obsidian celestial eye has great accidents, and its glaze is fired into a flare at a high temperature, and these spots are surrounded by red, green, sky blue and other colored halos shining in different directions. Born in a ceramic family, zhang Huifeng is obsessed with his father's obsession with ceramics, and Zhang Huifeng has the responsibility of "giving up who I am" for inheriting the dawn of the heavenly glaze. He witnessed the glory of his father's generation, and soberly saw that there were still many shortcomings in the firing technology of the dawning heavenly glaze. After more than 20 years of arduous exploration, Zhang Huifeng has now mastered the firing technology of obsidian glaze, not only overcoming the defects of uneven glaze, serious bottoming, poor brightness and other defects in the original firing technology, greatly improving the firing power, but also innovating and developing new glazes such as Venus, rust flowers, glaze patterns, tiger eye glaze, lychee glaze, tricolor ring and so on.
At the 25th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in 2016, the trophy of the "Special Contribution Award for Cultural Construction" won by the famous film director Feng Xiaogang was from the hand of Zhang Huifeng, who said that at the beginning of the design, he was also painstaking, and he had to reflect the characteristics of Tangshan and combine the glaze of the heavenly eye. After designing a whole night, the gold wire glaze on the wife was molded with the most advanced 3D printing technology, and then went to Jingdezhen to grout to make a model, and the golden rooster was produced.
In recent years, Zhang Huifeng combined Tangshan's unique bone porcelain with the glaze of the Heavenly Glaze, and began to develop a new type of bone porcelain glazed porcelain, whose works integrate ancient and modern, natural charm, elegance and luxury, unique style, and have won many awards in national and provincial professional appraisals, and have been collected by many museums such as the Treasure Museum of Chinese National Art, the Art Museum of China and many famous collectors. Zhang Huifeng has won the honorary titles of Master of Arts and Crafts of Hebei Province, Outstanding Contribution of Science and Technology Workers of Hebei Ceramic Industry, Star of Hebei Culture, Inheritor of Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, and Great Craftsman of Tangshan Ceramics for his outstanding artistic achievements.
