Fourteen years ago, the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, with the vision of "one world, one dream", vividly interpreted the story of an open China embracing the world and a pluralistic world welcoming China. Fourteen years later, Lu Xiuyuan, Yan Yalin and many other international volunteers joined, highlighting the internationalization and diversification of the volunteer team of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. International friends took the initiative and actively participated in the preparation of the Winter Olympic Games, which vividly interpreted the beautiful vision of the Beijing Winter Olympics "together to the future", and embodied the Olympic spirit of "excellence, friendship, respect, peace and unity". They, like other Chinese university student volunteers, also impressed the staff and visitors of the Winter Olympic Village because of their selfless dedication, excellent language skills and teamwork skills.

"I'm a person who doesn't like to be idle, and the busier I get, the more excited and fulfilled I feel." Lu Xiuyuan said that he was fully prepared, with patience and meticulous service and enthusiasm, and looked forward to the arrival of the visitors.

"To be honest, I am particularly touched, because the teachers and students are working hard for the smooth holding of the Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games, and around me, I find that Chinese love their motherland, work hard and complain, and dedicate their strength to the Winter Olympics." Although the work is a little tiring, I am willing to use my own strength to help the Winter Olympics and give back the rare and beautiful opportunities that China has given me. Lu Xiuyuan said.
