It is reported that Bentley Motors will launch its first EV model by the end of 2025, which is positioned as a sports model. It's part of the Beyond 100, first announced in November 2021, which says Bentley will rebrand as a pure electric vehicle company by 2030.

Bentley Chairman and CEO Adrian Hallmark said at a news conference that the car would be "different from the model we have today" and that it would be a big, fast, sporty car. It also said that within five years Bentley will launch five pure electric models, after which Bentley's current existing models will be replaced one by one until 2030, all of which will become pure electric models.

As part of the Volkswagen Group, its goal is to lead the competition as the number one luxury electric vehicle brand. Bentley will currently spend around $2.8 billion on product development and retrofitting its plants, making it a "dream factory" for the future production of electric vehicles, and has worked with Audi Group to redefine the performance eviction platform in terms of development. In 2021, Bentley sold nearly 15,000 units worldwide, with most transactions exceeding $280,000. The current transformation of the pure electric field, although the transformation requires huge investment, but the switch to electric vehicles will bring higher sales and double-digit returns to Bentley in the future. Bentley is expected to report returns in March.

Currently, Bentley's electrification strategy includes two plug-in hybrids, the Bentley Bentayga PEFV and the Bentley Flying Spur PHEV. So far, 20 percent of Bentayga's total sales have been hybrid models, and given that SUVs account for about 40 percent of Bentley's total sales, Bentley expects 20 percent of total sales this year to come from hybrid models.
