From today until February 6, from 9:30 to 11:30 and 13:30 to 15:30 every day, the Tianhou Temple Cultural Temple Fair will open on time. In addition to the folk experience, the Qingdao folk opera Liu Mao Lu Art Exhibition on the opera floor continues the folk traditional custom of "watching the drama in the New Year".
At the same time, the folk costume - qipao show is also staged along with the classic repertoire. Tianhou Temple will also invite opera teachers to perform the blessing program of the god of wealth at 10:00 a.m. on the fifth day of the first lunar month, and participants will receive souvenirs of blessings for the Year of the Tiger to start the year of the year.
It is reported that the Qingdao Tianhou Temple Fair began in the Ming Dynasty and flourished in the Qing Dynasty. In 2000, the Qingdao Folk Customs Museum restored the earliest temple fair in Qingdao and named it "Qingdao Tianhou Temple Xinzheng Folk Culture Temple Fair"; in 2007, the Cultural Temple was officially listed as an intangible cultural heritage protection project in Shandong Province.
