The pouring mountain of Jingxing Sun Zhuang is full of praise from the Lantern Festival viewers. It is made by the artist in the field at night, and the spray water gradually freezes, forming a stalactite state upside down and connecting into one piece, that is, "Lingshan". I talked about folklore with Gao Erping, a native of Jingxing SunZhuang, and he said: "Jingxing Sunzhuang has the custom of "pouring Lingshan" on the Lantern Festival, and the Lantern Festival in the village is to stand on a wooden frame, hang the branches upside down on the wooden frame, and slowly water it from top to bottom in the evening with boiling water to disinfect it. Due to the low temperature at night, the water gradually cools down and freezes in the process of dripping, the lower the temperature, the faster the freezing, forming an upside-down icicle like a stalactite state, which is commonly known as "Ling Cone". The icicles are connected into one piece, that is, "Lingshan".

In February 2012, Cui Jing, a photojournalist of Hebei Youth Daily, was a desperate sanlang, and to shoot typical folk customs, I recommended Pouring Ling Mountain to unveil the mystery of Pouring Ling Mountain. I suggested to him that it was a cold night shooting in the wild, very guilty, he said, as long as the material is good, not afraid of suffering.
At 5 p.m., dressed in a military coat and carrying photographic equipment, he crouched in Sun Zhuang waiting for night to fall. The next day, I talked to him on the phone, and his first words were, "It's so cold at night!" On February 7, Hebei Youth Daily published a full-page article titled "Pouring "Lingshan" for 15 hours without sleep", showing the production process of Pouring Lingshan to readers in the province.
Gao Erping is the vice chairman of the Jingxing Photographers Association, and he is a warm-hearted person who works hard and is enthusiastic. The two media interviews were arranged by him personally. Afterwards I said thank you, and he smiled and said, "In order to expand the popularity of my hometown, this is the way it should be." "I suddenly understood that Sun Zhuang's pouring mountain is very beautiful, and Sun Zhuang's people are even more beautiful.
In November 2015, I got the news. It is a great thing that "Pouring Ling Mountain" has been included in the sixth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage list in Shijiazhuang City.
Unveil the making of "Pouring Mountain"
In the wilderness on the edge of the village of Jingxing Sunzhuang. At 16:00, Gao Chunyue lit a pile of fires, put two branches with a diameter of seven or eight centimeters in the fire and roasted them into a bow shape, and tied them together with four other straight branches to form a shelf. Two villagers tied several small branches to a wooden frame and hung them upside down on a shelf that had been set up on the side.
After about 30 minutes, under their skillful operation, 5 "strangely shaped" "models" were sequentially hung upside down. At 18:30, it was dark, and the high black egg sprayed water on the "model" with a "water gun". He was careful to make sure the water was evenly distributed on each branch.
The temperature was low on winter nights, and the water on the branches was quickly frozen into ice. About every two or three minutes, the tall black egg will be sprayed with water. At 19:30, a thin layer of ice had been wrapped around the "model", and a one- or two-millimeter-long icicle appeared at the end of the branch.
At 3 o'clock the next day, the temperature dropped below zero, and the "model" was completely wrapped in ice, which formed along the branches and piled up like corals, some of which were seven or eight centimeters long. At 7:30, after 15 hours of production, the five "models" were hung with slender crystalline icicles, the longest one of which was nearly fifty centimeters.
The villagers carefully flipped one of the "models" over, and in an instant an arch bridge was revealed in front of them. Several other "models" also showed the appearance of the five-pointed pavilion and the ice tree, and the tall black egg showed a satisfied smile: "This is called 'LingShan'."
There are a few points to pay attention to when viewing "Pouring Ling Mountain"
Jingxing Sun Zhuang poured lingshan mountain, which is rumored to have a history of 600 years. However, it is not easy for you to see his true face. Because "Pouring Mountain" is made of moisture and freezing, therefore, both production and preservation are subject to temperature constraints.
According to reports, first, not every year the lunar new month Lantern Festival can be watched. Reason: In an abnormal year when it is warm, the temperature in the first month is too high, it cannot be made, it cannot be frozen, and of course, it is impossible to watch. Fortunately, there are not many such years.
Second, Jingxing Sunzhuang is a large village, divided into east row, middle row and west row, three natural residential areas, the fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, three days of the temple fair can be seen "Lingshan" exhibition.
Third, at 7:30 in the morning, the artists carried "Lingshan" into the village. The villagers washed their faces and did not eat, and first ran to see Ling Shan. Before eight o'clock is a real and complete "Lingshan" artwork, after eight o'clock, with the sunlight and the increase of the ambient temperature, Lingshan is slowly melting.
