Zhou Liqun, 44 years old, grew up at the foot of the mountain, and when he was a teenager, he liked to collect stones and teach himself the art of stone carving. Over the years, he has used his leisure time to create more than 200 works, covering topics such as poetry and famous quotes, cultural festivals, and life inspiration. The seemingly unremarkable stone was given "spirituality" by him and has become famous in the local area.

When he saw that "ice piers" and "snow melting" had become people's favorite collections, and "one pier was difficult to find", Zhou Liqun planned to make a set of "mascot" collections by himself.

Zhou Liqun said that in order to do a good job of "ice piers" and "snow melting", he selected stones of the right size, color and shape from the stones he had collected for many years, and then washed them with clean water, dried them by drying, and began to compose pictures on them.

"Conceiving and drawing is the difficulty and key to stone carving, not only to be tangible, but also to be out of the spirit, but also to be integrated with the stone." Zhou Liqun said that after the stone carving is completed, it can be painted and colored.

Zhou Liqun said that stone carving works have a wide range of themes, text works are relatively easy to present, and the difficulty of picture works is relatively higher. Every step in the creation should be delicate, "in the process of carving the stone, there will be stone powder splashed into the eyes, and eye acid, hand numbness, and neck pain are the norm." ”

Recently, he began to broadcast live on the online platform to share the joy of the creative process with more people, "I will create more works and stick to this love." (End)
