(Special reporter Wang Yunhe Yang Jun) Before the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, China Telecom completed the full coverage of the 5G operation subway in the main urban area of Wuhan, covering 168 stations and 235 kilometers of underground tunnels, sending a New Year gift to the people of Wuhan.
Wuhan metro station platforms are numerous, complex structure, and changeable lines, and China Telecom uses big data analysis to tailor different 5G solutions for each platform and each line. The subway machine room operation period is from 23:00 pm to 4:00 am, when most of the Wuhan citizens are sleeping, China Telecom construction personnel grasp the limited working hours, in the narrow machine room, deep tunnels in the intense operation, in the hourly unit to promote 5G construction.
In the construction of Wuhan Metro 5G, China Telecom took the lead in the industry to adopt leading technologies such as "Method for Determining the Distance Between Metro Multi-system Convergence Sub-station" to greatly improve the quality of 5G signal coverage, and the relevant results have been declared for national patents.
