According to foreign media reports, Tesla Model 3 has entered the top 20 best-selling cars in Europe (28 European markets, monitored by JETO Dynamics), of which the market share of plug-in electric vehicles has expanded to 19%.
According to the data, 141429 Tesla Model 3 (up 64% year-over-year) registered for the full year of 2021 (including a record 27,358 in December – the highest in the month). In 2020, the number of registrations was 85,713 (down 9%). Tesla achieved good results, ranking 17th among Europe's best-selling cars and twice (December and September) becoming the monthly leader. The data shows that Tesla sold about 95,247 cars in 2019 and about 87,642 in 2020 (99,613 for Renault ZOE).
Tesla is the 21st most popular brand in Europe, behind MINI and ahead of Mazda, Jeep, Land Rover, Porsche and Mitsubishi. Tesla Model 3 sales in all five countries in the top 10: Austria (10th), Germany (10th), Norway (1st), Switzerland (1st), United Kingdom (2nd)
