Fieldwork made me understand the responsibility of the times

Looking back on the past, as an intangible cultural heritage cadre, more than 10 years of work experience has made me understand the responsibility of my body. For a newcomer who has always been "from books to books" and has just stepped into the workplace, fieldwork is my first lesson, it makes me have a macro understanding of Shaanxi's broad and profound folk cultural heritage, and I am impressed by its brilliant charm, which makes me deeply understand the responsibility entrusted to us by the times, that is, the excavation, rescue and recording and sorting that are not waiting for me; it is to retain the tinder for those who are waiting for the fire. Ze was the merit of future generations.

I remember once going to Yan'an Ansai in Shaanxi To investigate paper-cutting, thinking that it was just a flash of light to listen to reports and hold a symposium, but I didn't know that I really went into the countryside, walked into the homes of folk artists, and communicated with them face to face. They have their own cultural insistence, appealing to the scissors of emotion and desire to depict the beautiful world in their hearts, interpreting their hearts with incomparably gorgeous, imaginative and different works, simple and shocking. At that time, I really understood that as an intangible cultural heritage worker, my mission is to protect this fertile cultural land, which is our roots and the national cultural genes flowing in the blood.

Over the years, I have been adhering to the original intention of the intangible cultural heritage, dedicating my youth and blood to the post, watching the protection of the intangible cultural heritage go through the beginning, the exploration period, the peak period, and enter the normalization of the protection track. Watching Chinese paper-cutting, Xi'an drum music, Chinese shadow puppetry and other intangible cultural heritage projects declared by Shaanxi as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, I am very proud and at the same time pleased with my achievements, and published "Chinese Paper-cutting", "Xi'an Mud Calling", "Splendid Heraldry" and other intangible cultural heritage-related books, summing up some of my experience in the field of intangible cultural heritage protection. Let us work hard in the Year of the Tiger to create more impressive achievements.
