The first batch of production line verification prototypes of NIO ET5 will be officially delivered in September this year

Recently, we learned from official channels that the first batch of production line verification prototypes of WEILAI ET5 were officially rolled off the production line in Hefei. At the same time, Weilai officials also said that the next ET5 production and manufacturing work is being promoted in an orderly manner. The car is a new pure electric medium-sized four-door coupe released by NIO Day 2021 not long ago, and will be officially delivered to customers in September.

This is an important part of the Validation Build phase of engineering verification. At this stage, ET5 has launched a full range of testing and verification work, mainly to complete the three tasks of optimizing the production line process, verifying the functional integrity of the vehicle, and verifying the attributes and performance of the vehicle.

Engineers will identify potential problems in the production process, continuously optimize and refine, and put more stringent demands on components and manufacturing processes. Through the small batch trial production of complete vehicle prototypes, the assembly process of the production line will be gradually adjusted to the optimal state, laying a solid foundation for the mass production of ET5.

Prior to this, as one of the important links in the process verification vehicle construction (Confirmation Build) stage, the body of the first production line of et5 was also successfully rolled off the production line. The main work at this stage is to verify the rationality of the process flow of processing and assembly, train the production line operators, and further optimize the processing and assembly process by manufacturing the physical verification work such as the body of the production line.
