About the Author
Shang Zaiguo, male, born in 1967, is currently working for Yongdeng Qilianshan Cement Co., Ltd., learning calligraphy from Zhang Gaiqin, a member of the Gansu Calligraphers Association, and a director of the Gansu Calligraphy Education Award Association. From 2016 to 2017, he participated in the 4th Calligraphy Advanced Study Class of Northwest Normal University and won the outstanding student. From 2017 to 2018, he participated in the 14th and 15th Calligraphy Creation Improvement Classes of the Gansu Provincial Book Association, and won the Excellence Award of the 15th Calligraphy Creation Improvement Class. In 2020, he participated in the calligraphy creation and copying improvement class undertaken by China Calligraphy Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. and the Propaganda Department of Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee. His works have been exhibited in exhibitions organized by provincial and municipal calligraphers associations.
Since childhood, Zai Guo has a special love for Chinese character writing, and can write a beautiful pen character, which is quite envied by his classmates and praised by his teachers. Occasionally dabbling in the classic Fa Ti, you can also draw a scoop according to the gourd, and what is like what it is. Perhaps God favored the hard-working people, in 2015, by chance, he got acquainted with the famous calligrapher Teacher Zhang Gaiqin, and since then, he has begun formal calligraphy study under the guidance of Teacher Zhang's face.
Calligraphy is different from writing. Writing is mainly "easy to read, easy to read, neat and beautiful", and the pursuit is a kind of popular symmetrical beauty. The information contained in calligraphy is much richer, in short, there are four methods, namely calligraphy, penmanship, ink method, and chapter method. Underpinning the four methods are calligraphy aesthetics, Chinese philosophy and Chinese culture, so the difficulty of learning calligraphy is much greater than that of writing. Although the work of re-kingdom is busy, it can be busy and idle, according to the teachings of the teacher, all over the generations of Fa Ti, full of reading the history of the Fa, with the post as a friend, with the book as the medium, and befriended the same way in the book world.
Among the many glyphs of seal, li, kai, xing, and grass, Zai Guo worked particularly Chu Suiliang's book The Classic of Yin Symbols of the Great Characters, sacrificing its femininity and taking its strength, and then integrating into the square pen of Zhang Ronglong Monument, gradually forming a personal style. The book is a heart painting, and the aesthetic orientation presented by the Zaiguo Book is very similar to its living and working environment, thick, simple and not rigid. In addition to the calligraphy, the efforts made by the country to practice cursive writing are also deep. Wang Xizhi's "Sister Zhi Ti", "Da Bao Ti", Huai Su's "Tibetan True Post", "Legal Gong Ti", Huang Tingjian's "Song Style" and so on are his favorites.
Five years ago, Zaiguo was commissioned to reinvigorate the majesty of the Yongdeng Qilianshan Cement Factory. At the beginning of his term of office, he carried out drastic reforms, reorganized and expanded production lines, reshaped corporate culture, cohesively used the soul casting function of traditional culture to enhance the corporate image, so that the old enterprise had a new look and once again led the group's factories. Zaiguo also used this kind of hard work in the study of calligraphy. Walking into his study, a smell of ink comes to his nose, and all four walls are famous masterpieces, classic Fa Ti. Immersed in it, looking at his study works, Dharma texts, books, and discarded pens, I was moved by it, and Zhang Zhi's ink pool and Huai Su's pen tomb appeared in front of me. Diligent as it is, there are not many book circles, and corporate CEOs are even rarer.
Imago Zaiguo wants to print the ink marks of the study book, feel its persistence, think of its model, and write a short article for the preface.
