On January 28th, the opening ceremony of China Hainan International Cultural Relics and Artworks Trading Center and the opening ceremony of the first China Hainan International Cultural Relics and Art Exhibition and Auction were held in Sanya.
It is understood that the trading center is led by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and the National Development and Reform Commission, which is an important project for the state to highlight the advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port and support the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port on the basis of being different from the existing domestic art trading centers.
The trading center project is located in sanya central business district, with a construction planning area of about 90,000 square meters, which will introduce international rules such as exhibition, trading and auction in the art industry, and provide an open, professional, convenient and efficient international trading platform for excellent artworks and tradable cultural relics. At the same time, the trading center will take advantage of the geographical advantages and preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port to encourage well-known auction institutions at home and abroad to carry out business in the trading center, promote the reduction of transaction costs, form a comparative advantage of international transaction costs, and provide all-round support for all aspects of cultural relics and artworks trading.
