Passenger Association: In 2021, the cumulative sales of MPVs were 1.055 million units, an increase of almost flat year-on-year

According to the News of the WeChat Public Account of the Association of Automobile Associations on January 28, 2021, the wholesale sales of MPV in December 2021 reached 113,000 units, down 20.8% year-on-year and 4.7% month-on-month; the cumulative sales volume for the whole year was 1.055 million units, an increase of almost flat year-on-year, only 0.1%. The penetration rate of MPV in the narrow passenger car market was 5.0%, down 0.3 percentage points from the same period last year.
