Our modern poetry can be described as "a hundred flowers blooming". "Obscure poems", "pear blossom body", "dark green body", "lamb body", "feces and urine body", can be described as endless. We now have not only obscure poems, slogan poems, three-way poems, pile-up poems, and crap poems.

Can nonsense also be poetry? Indeed it is. Speaking of nonsense poetry, the first estimate that everyone thinks of is Wu Qing, the founder of "Wu Qing Body". His poetry is not just as simple as spoken language, because a person who speaks, even if he is wordy, will not speak like him. For example, his "masterpiece", "Praise for white clouds", is indeed nonsense.
In fact, nonsense poetry is not Wuqing's "original", as early as Wuqing became famous twenty years ago, nonsense poetry has appeared. A group of people represented by Yang Li, Han Dong, Yu Jian, and Shang Zhongmin founded the "non-Non-Sect", which is actually advocating nonsense poetry. Of course, they are not called nonsense poetry, but have a very literary name, called "third generation writing".

Among them, especially Yang Li's poems are most like nonsense. Later, Han Dong, Yu Jian, and Shang Zhongmin all had some changes, and the "nonsense" was not so obvious. However, Yang Li has been insisting on "nonsense" writing. He also supports the theory of stripping language from poetry. "Poetry begins with language", "poetry ends with language", "rejection of metaphor", to put it simply, poetry is only a form of text, and has nothing to do with content.
Compared with Wu Qing's "Praise for White Clouds", Yang Li's "MountainTop" is still "poetic". Therefore, the reason why Yang Li was not as hot as Wu Qing was because his nonsense was not thorough enough.
Why is there a nonsense body? This is actually the reason for correcting obscure poetry. Forty years ago, the poetry world was the world of obscure poetry, and the obscurity of obscure poetry not only made readers dizzy, but also made the poetry world cloud in the fog. Therefore, the rebellion against obscure poetry becomes inevitable. There are two extreme directions for this kind of resistance: one is the "slogan poem" represented by Wang Guozhen, and the other is the "nonsense poem" represented by Yang Li and others.
Wang Guozhen's poems, like shouting slogans, have a very straightforward meaning and positive thinking. As a result, it has been sought after by a large number of readers. And the nonsense poems represented by Yang Li obviously cannot be accepted by readers for a while. Some poets have found a "compromise", which is "colloquial poetry". Colloquial poetry is not as crap as crap, but against poetry carrying too much allegory.
Therefore, "nonsense poetry" is actually a kind of catharsis, or resistance, which is a more extreme way of expression. Poetry is no longer allegorical, no longer subtle and hazy, but only a form of expression of words. They try to free the "poem" from the heavy and tedious allegory, like removing the skeleton of the poem, and the soul, and turning it into an empty shell.
Therefore, nonsense poetry cannot be accepted by the public, nor can it be accepted by the poetry world. Nonsense poetry has become a kind of ridicule, not even "oil poetry". Because of the appearance of Wu Qing, there was a boom in nonsense poetry, and everyone could write poetry. But the hustle and bustle of that moment also completely declared the death of nonsense poetry, like a return to the light.
Whether it is Wang Guozhen's slogan poems, Yang Li's nonsense poems, or the current colloquial poems, it is not that it is meaningless. In fact, they are also exploring the way out of modern poetry, where should modern poetry go? This is actually a concern of all people who care about poetry. And what we see now, many poems that are not like poetry at all, are actually an attempt and exploration.
I think that the way out of modern poetry is still to start from the three aspects of form, content and thought. Formally, the rhythm of the poem should still be preserved. In terms of content, it should still be said that there is something to be said. Ideologically, it is still necessary to be positive. Poetry is poetry after all, or it must bear what she should bear, and it cannot become nonsense.
