After the earnings report, Tesla CEO Musk said on a conference call that Tesla is producing a Model Y equipped with 4680 batteries at its Austin factory, and the first vehicles equipped with 4680 structural battery packs should begin deliveries in the near future, perhaps at the end of this quarter.

Musk also said that it is also looking for a new factory location, musk expects deliveries to easily grow to more than 50% in 2022, and fully autonomous driving this year.

IT Home understands that the report shows that Tesla Motors' total revenue in the fourth quarter was $17.719 billion, an increase of 65% compared with $10.744 billion in the same period last year; net profit was $2.343 billion, compared to $296 million in the same period last year; and net profit attributable to common shareholders was $2.321 billion, an increase of 760% compared with $270 million in the same period last year.
