It is reported that these three brands will bring four authorized models, namely Wuling Hongguang, WEILAI EP9 pure electric supercar, MG 3 and MG Xpower SV-R. This will be the first time that a Chinese car brand has landed in this game series, and it will also be the first time that a domestic brand has been included in a large-scale racing game with global influence.
After the news was released, the current online social media has been a cheer, after all, Wuling Hongguang's car has always been a "god-like" existence in China, and it also has a certain degree of popularity overseas and is sold in many countries and regions. For the addition of new cars, some overseas netizens said that they were "stunned" and "very much looking forward to it".
Judging from the official promotional video, this Wuling is painted in yellow, the red logo of Wuling is hung on the front and tail of the car, and the logo of "Wuling Hongguang S" is also hung on the rear. As one of Wuling's most successful products, Wuling Hongguang dominates the sales list of compact vans for many years, and it is also the top 10 models in global sales every year.
In addition to Wuling, Horizon 5 also introduces the electric supercar NIO EP9 under the new Chinese car-making force NIO. The new car is equipped with four high-performance electric motors and four independent gearboxes, capable of delivering 1,360 horsepower, accelerating in just 7.1 seconds from 0 to 200 km/h, and setting a new record for the fastest lap at the Nürburgring in 2017.
The other two cars are from the MG brand, although MG was born in the United Kingdom, but currently belongs to the name of SAIC Motor, so it is still designated as a "Chinese brand", but overseas netizens must be no stranger to this brand.
Mg brought models to the MG 3 and MG Xpower S-VR, respectively. The former is an entry-level sports hatchback with 1.3- and 1.5-litre in-line four-cylinder engines mated to a 5-speed manual or semi-automatic transmission, while the latter is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine from Ford with a maximum power of 390 horsepower and is driven in the form of a front-longitudinal rear-drive.
Forza Horizon 5 is the fifth game in the Playground Games racing game Forza Horizon series, which was released last November. The game was nominated for the "Game of the Year" award at the Steam Game Awards.
