Song Qingru was born into a landlord family, came from a well-to-do family, received private school enlightenment at an early age, and grew up in Su Girls' Middle School, protesting to his family that "I don't want to get married and study."

Song entered Zhijiang University as he wished in 1932, and met Zhu Shenghao, a Jiaxing native, at the Zhijiang Poetry Conference, and had a heart collision.

Zhu Shenghao was the first man in her life, and although she also had a family affair in her hometown, she knew nothing about the man and did not want to know.
Their love affair is really long, for ten years, of which nine years have been written, and Zhu Shenghao's letter is really well written, sincere and sincere.
This talent, who was ridiculed by his friends as "without lust", wrote a rich and vast pen, even if he was not the one in charge, but everyone who read the letter would be moved by it.
On the letter paper, Zhu's fly-head small characters were densely packed, like a child who was chattering, and sometimes this letter had just been sent, and the next one was continued.

These letters are sincere, interesting, and moving, and are the best in love letters.
In the relationship between the sexes, the exchange of letters was the place where people in later generations felt the flow of the times the most in that era.
It was not until 1942, after 9 years of bitter love, that the marriage was hurriedly consummated at the suggestion of others, so as to facilitate the consideration of world affairs and common life.
Song was 31 years old and Zhu was 30 years old, both of whom were older youths. A generation of words Zong Xia Chengtao wrote eight big characters for the newlyweds: Talented Lady, Chaimi Couple.

But Song Qingru is no longer a beautiful person, just a hard-working housewife, helping workers to make clothes, subsidizing the family, and running for three meals a day.
She replied succinctly: "He translates the sand, I cook." ”
In fact, Zhu once invited Song to translate Shakespeare together, but Song refused because his English proficiency was inferior to Zhu's. She was worried about delaying Zhu's translation process. Therefore, when Zhu Shenghao was alive, Song Qingru only played the role of reader, proofreader, and appreciator.
On the afternoon of December 26, 1944, Zhu Shenghao was critically ill and muttered on his deathbed: "Qingru, I am going." Zhu Shenghao died of tuberculosis and other diseases, leaving orphans and widows and an unfinished business of translating sha.
This year, The Changshu woman Song Qingru was only 33 years old, and the child was 13 months old. Their conjugal life lasted only two years.

But Song Qingru could not do this, she had a mission, Zhu Shenghao left her 31 kinds, 1.8 million words of Shakespeare manuscripts, unpublished, and their young son, eager to be fed.
When a person has a mission, he has the courage to live.
Song Qingru seems to be in a hurry to do these two things for the rest of his life: publishing Zhu's translations and raising their children. She wants to survive for Zhu Shenghao, she wants to do what he doesn't have time to do, the scenery of life she wants to see for him one by one, just so that one day she and him in that eternal silence, she wants to say them to him one by one.

Too much time had passed, the early years of experience—the twelve years with Zhu Shenghao, the past, those letters, she never really left them, everything she did, all her worries, all her longings, they were all in the same hour, in the common storm.
She had no other time to fight against this thick memory. Even in her later years, she wrote memorial articles and corresponded with friends, all because of him.
Zhu Shanggang recalled that the elderly mother regarded everything very lightly, only the father was still the idol in her mind that was always clear, and the mother used all the remaining experiences in her last life path to shape this idol.
In 1997, Song Qingru listened to Xian Le and left, and after fifty-three years of separation with Zhu Shenghao, they were reunited in heaven.
The young Song Qingru rebelled against the family, the unfreedom imposed on the women by the times, studied in a different place, and had poetic talents revealed in the early days.
