Recently, the Zhou Xinfang Drama Art Museum, located at No. 18 Shangzhi Road, Cicheng Town, Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, opened to the public on a trial basis. The art museum covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters, sitting north and facing south, originally Zhang Shangshufang. This is also another cultural punch card place created by Cicheng after the Historical and Cultural Exhibition Hall, the Pharmaceutical Merchants Museum, the Feng Ding Truth Garden, and the Tanjiazhen Life Science Education Hall.

Peking Opera, enjoying the reputation of "national essence", is still a major drama with world-class influence. Zhou Xinfang (1895-1975) pioneered the art of Peking Opera Laosheng Qipai, which played a pivotal role in the inheritance and development of Chinese Peking Opera art. The relevant person in charge of Cicheng Town said: "Cicheng is the ancestral home of Mr. Zhou Xinfang, and his contribution to Chinese opera will always be in the hearts of the people in his hometown. We hope that through the Zhou Xinfang Theater Art Museum, we will pay tribute to the masters and pay tribute to China's excellent traditional culture. ”

Zhou Xinfang Theater Art Museum is divided into two parts: the main museum and the local opera hall. The main museum displays four chapters of Zhou Xinfang's hometown love, artistic life, Qipai art and protégés, and family life, and the museum focuses on the precious photos, books, video materials, clothing and utensils of Zhou Xinfang's starring, directing and directing the creation of operas, which fully demonstrates Mr. Zhou Xinfang's outstanding artistic achievements and noble artistic character.

The main hall also has a wall of famous singers and paintings, where the audience can put on headphones or sit in front of the curtain and listen to the mellow selection of famous artists.

In the local opera hall, Ningbo local dramas such as Yong opera, Yao opera, and Ninghai Pingtuo have gathered for the first time, and the local small dramas scattered in the folk, such as Ninghai Sankeng Tune, Xiangshan Chicken Singing Sankeng Class, Triangle Di Ziyun Random Bomb, etc., are also displayed in more detail here.

From the overall pattern, Zhou Xinfang Theater Art Museum reflects a unique sense of "tension", from space design to local embellishment, all present an open atmosphere. Traditional elements have been continued and innovated under modern aesthetic standards, and opera culture and space design art are in line with each other, interpreting the spiritual conception of traditional Chinese opera culture and art.

"We have set up stages and spaces for different scenes in the venue, and will invite all kinds of dramas from all over the country to come to perform, invite famous music artists to give lectures and hold master classes, better disseminate excellent traditional Chinese culture, and make this a new platform for Chinese opera." Wang Jinwen, head of Zhou Xinfang Drama Art Museum and famous Yong opera artist, introduced that the next step will also introduce dynamic content such as cultural and creative products and immersive experiences to enrich the content of the art museum and make the art museum more vibrant, so as to attract more people to experience the beauty of traditional culture here.
