Red Net Moment News April 30 (Reporter Hu Bangjian) On April 30, Xie Zilong Video Art Museum's 2022 annual exhibition "Body, Universe: Common Living Art" (Body · Cosmos: The Art of Living Together) was officially opened, and the exhibition brought together the energy of the works of 14 (groups) of contemporary artists from home and abroad in the name of the universe, imagining future possibilities on a planetary scale.
The exhibition will last until 8 28, divided into three units: "Body and History", "Body and Technology" and "Body and Universe", using comprehensive media forms such as photography, video art, documentation and installation art to show and describe a scene related to the development of art and technology such as the reality of current existence.
Along the exhibition line, in the exhibition hall, each artist's work is presented in a separate division, like a small independent planet. People walk in it, as if floating in the vast universe, every stop and stay can harvest a different visual experience.
In order to let the public better understand the exhibition, on April 29, Xie Zilong Image Art Museum also held an online forum on the theme of "Art, Perception, Technology", and Dong Bingfeng, the curator of the exhibition and the academic director of Xie Zilong Image Art Museum, and the three participating artists Wang Luyan, Feng Mengbo and Hu Jieming used the form of cloud live broadcast to introduce and deeply interpret the issues discussed in the exhibition.
This exhibition is also the main exhibition project of the first "Changsha Yanghu Public Art Season" International New Media Art Exhibition in 2022. The first "Changsha Yanghu Public Art Season" will last until July 31, in addition to this exhibition, there will be a series of activities such as immersive script killing, children's stage plays, lakeside art markets, public art lectures, and academic forums.
