Bild: Haaland's muscle fibers are torn, and there is still a faint hope of a comeback before the Feb. 6 game against the pharmaceutical factory

According to Bild, Dort shooter Haaland suffered a muscle fiber tear injury, and it is unclear how serious the Norwegian suffered and the timing of the injury. However, Haaland has a faint hope of playing in the Feb. 6 focus game against Bayer Leverkusen.

Haaland last recovered from a flexor injury in Marbella, Spain, and Dort has yet to make a final decision as to whether the Norwegian will stay at the club or travel to Marbella to recover from injury.

Haaland has suffered eight injuries since May 2020, which has left him out of 22 games. This season, Dort can average 2.21 points per game when Haaland plays, but the Hornets can only average two points per game without the Norwegian.
