Chen Mian (1859~1893), Zi Guansheng, a native of Daxing, Beijing. Guangxu nine years of the title, teaching cultivation, inheriting family training, there are good deeds. Guangxu served as the chief examiner of the Hunan Township Examination for fifteen years. In the nineteenth year of Guangxu, he returned to his hometown of Cha Zu and returned to Beijing to die in his apartment.
In 1998, the zhongzhou ancient books publishing house published the book "The First Strategy under heaven: The Examination of the Imperial Yuandian in the Past Dynasties", which once selected the most accomplished 8 Champions in Chinese history. Chen Mian was one of them, and his literary talent and virtue were on a par with Wen Tianxiang and Zhang Xiao.
