"Hefei New Year Concert" is an elegant music festival tailored for the citizens of Hefei on the eve of the Spring Festival every year, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and hosted by Hefei Radio and Television Station. Twenty-four sessions have been successfully held since 1997 and will be the twenty-fifth this year. It skillfully combines people's yearning for spring and their love for symphonic music. After years of hard work and brand building, the concert has a high reputation in China, known as Hefei's "Symphonic Spring Festival Gala", deeply loved by the public.

The 2022 Chinese New Year Concert is performed by the Anhui Orchestra. In order to create a festive atmosphere for the Spring Festival and enrich the cultural life of Hefei citizens during the Spring Festival, Hefei Radio and Television Station will record a live concert and will premiere on Hefei News Channel on January 30 (the day before Chinese New Year's Eve).
