Paris, 3 Feb (Xinhua) -- The "Peace, Friendship, Love" Winter Olympics New Year Concert, co-starring nearly 100 Chinese and foreign artists and recorded separately in China and France, was recently broadcast to the world through Radio 5.
The concert lasts 110 minutes.
In the "Beijing Winter Olympics" and "Paris Summer Olympics", French pianist Richard Clayderman played the piano song "Ice Skating Round Dance", and the Paris Love Orchestra played the "Winter" in Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", skillfully integrating the Olympic spirit and ice and snow culture into the music.

In the "Chinese-Foreign Friendship Chapter", Western classic cultural styles such as Italian opera and French traditional dance are complemented by traditional Chinese cultural programs such as Kunqu opera and Peking Opera; in the "Celebrating the Spring Festival", Shaanxi Shenmu's paper-cutting and pasting Spring Festival Lian took to the stage to offer New Year blessings to the global audience.
Chinese artists and the Chinese-French national break dance team also performed the song and dance "Kung Fu Perak" in front of the Temple of Heaven prayer hall in Beijing and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, respectively, showing the unique charm of combining Chinese and Western cultures.
Chinese Ambassador to France Lu Shaye said in his speech to the concert that art crosses national borders, and the rich historical heritage and vibrant contemporary spirit of China and France are intertwined and presented through this concert, jointly interpreting the profound theme of "peace, friendship and love".
Lu Shaye said: Both art and sports will be transformed into bridges and ties, bringing the Chinese and French people closer together and pulling the friendship between the two peoples closer.
French female singer Juliet Zenati, who participated in the performance, said that the Beijing Winter Olympics is a grand event that is highly anticipated, and the world is experiencing a difficult moment of the new crown epidemic, and people of all countries need to get closer to each other and share in unity.
