【Background】

1. In 2011, the State Council approved the implementation of the "Regional Planning of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone", in 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly issued the "Development Plan for the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration", and the sixth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Committee in 2020 proposed the strategic layout of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle. The construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Zone, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Yangtze River Economic Belt has integrated the three national strategies into one, built the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor, and formed the soft power of the economic circle. On December 15, 2021, the Special Working Group on the Construction of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor held its fourth joint meeting in Sichuan, emphasizing that Chengdu and Chongqing will take the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor as a cultural tourism landmark that sings the "Tale of Two Cities", integrate the bashu culture in depth, and work with Chongqing to promote world-class cultural tourism brands such as giant pandas, great ruins, Dashan City, and The Three Gorges to jointly create the "Bashu Road" cultural tourism brand.

2. As an important part of Chinese culture, Bashu traditional Chinese medicine culture plays an important role in the inheritance and development of Chinese medicine. In 2012, the "Tianhui Medical Jane" unearthed in Tianhui Town was written by Bian Que, indicating that the culture of traditional Chinese medicine in the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period had been spread and applied in Sichuan. In the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" also contains "divine doctors" Wu Peng and Wu Xian; the medical scientist Fu Weng of the Eastern Han Dynasty wrote the "Needle Sutra" and the "Method of Diagnosing pulses"; Guo Yu of the Han Dynasty, Zan Yin and Du Guangting of the Tang Dynasty were also famous doctors at that time; the "Historical Evidence Class Prepared Urgent Materia Medica" written by Tang Shenwei, a Chengdu native of the Song Dynasty, can be called the blueprint of the "Compendium of Materia Medica"; Tang Zonghai, Zhang Ji, and Zeng Yi of the Qing Dynasty were all famous doctors in the world. In modern times, such as Shen Shaojiu, Zheng Qin'an, Xiao Longyou, Pu Fuzhou, Ran Xuefeng, Xiong Yusheng, Li Chongren, Ren Yingqiu, Du Ziming, Li Sichi, Wu Zhaoxian and other famous Chinese medicine masters, all from the Sichuan-Chongqing Bashu region.

The Bashu region is rich in traditional Chinese medicinal resources, and Sichuan is known as the "hometown of traditional Chinese medicine and the storehouse of traditional Chinese medicine". According to statistics, Sichuan Province has more than 5,000 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine resources, including more than 4,600 kinds of plant medicines, more than 320 kinds of animal medicines, more than 130 kinds of mineral medicines, including more than 30 kinds of famous authentic medicinal materials and main medicinal materials. Chongqing is also one of the important production areas of Chinese herbal medicines, a large area of mountainous areas grow thousands of wild and artificially cultivated Chinese medicinal materials, in the national output of Huanglian, Wubeizi, honeysuckle, Magnolia, Yellow Cedar, Eucommia, Yuanhu, etc., are commonly used in clinical varieties, Bashu area of Chinese herbal medicine occupies a pivotal position in the country.

3. The Cultural Landmark of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bashu is rich in resources. Pengzu Mountain in Meishan City, Sichuan Province, is a unique cultural tourism scenic spot in China and the only one in the world featuring longevity and health; Laojun Mountain in Xinjin District, Chengdu, the holy land of the global mainstream Taoist sect Quanzhen Longmen Sect, it is said that there are immortal herbs on the mountain, the name is thick japonica, and food can be immortalized; Mianyang Beichuan Yaowang Valley, where the area is rich in Chinese herbal medicine, it is said that many famous doctors such as Qi Bo, the ancestor of Chinese medicine, Sun Simiao, Liu Shenwei, Li Shizhen, have come here to collect medicine and treat diseases, and the residents of the mountain also have the custom of offering sacrifices to the Bodhisattva of the King of Medicine. It has become the only resort in The country to carry out traditional Chinese medical physical examination and health conditioning for sub-healthy people. Yaowang Valley has more than 100 kinds of ornamental Chinese herbal medicines, especially at the end of March every year when the Xinyi flowers bloom, hundreds of large trees, full of trees and flowers, spread over the mountains, its spectacular scenery is unforgettable.

In addition, in recent years, the Sichuan-Chongqing region has gradually built the Cangxi Medicine Culture Expo Park, the Shunan Huahai Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism Demonstration Base, the Hongya Emei Mid-Levels Qiliping Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism Demonstration Base, the Dayuan Bao Chinese Medicine Base in Baoxing County, Ya'an City, and the Feng Kai Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Park in Jijia Town, Dazu District, Chongqing.

【Suggestion】

1. Incorporate the cultural elements of traditional Chinese medicine in the construction of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor, and build a cultural landmark with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics in Bashu area. In the construction of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor, the cultural elements of traditional Chinese medicine are fully incorporated, and existing resources can be used to fully integrate applications, explore the cultural characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in bashu region, and enhance the cultural attractiveness of traditional Chinese medicine, including tourists from all over the world.

2. Chinese medicine culture is one of the representatives of China's excellent traditional culture, which is not only the carrier of Chinese cultural inheritance, but also an important carrier for the spread of Chinese culture to the outside world. In the construction of traditional Chinese medicine cultural landmarks in Bashu region, it is necessary to fully integrate the functions of Chinese cultural inheritance and education and the function of dissemination at home and abroad, and at the same time, we can take into account the health and rehabilitation functions of traditional Chinese medicine cultural landmarks.

3. Sichuan-Chongqing region has joined hands to create a "big Chinese medicine" cultural brand in addition to the giant panda, big ruins, big mountain city and big three gorges brand.
