It is understood that the official name of the north-south health trail is the Xiamen Shanhai Health Trail Linhai Line.
The official name of the East-West Health Trail is the Xiamen Shanhai Health Trail Yunhai Line.
The first phase of the Linhai Line is about 17.9 kilometers long, of which the main line is about 8.2 kilometers long, starting from Wuyuan Bay, connecting the Yunhai Line of the Xiamen Shanhai Health Trail (hereinafter referred to as the "Yunhai Line"), passing through Jinshan, Lakeside Reservoir, Zhonglun Park, Yunding Middle Road, Genting Rock Road, Dongpingshan, and finally Dongshan Reservoir, seamlessly connecting the vibrant urban landscape with the tranquil natural scenery.
Five landscape nodes were created along the first phase of the Linhai Line

Wuyuanwan Trail Square

Wuyuanwan Trail Square is located on the west side of Wuyuanwan Thanksgiving Square, and the Guanhai Pavilion on the square is the starting point of the Linhai Line, and the disc shape is unique and interesting. With a clear view of the sea, beach and cityscape on the other side, it is integrated with Wuyuanwan Park, providing a space for leisure activities that can be enjoyed and enjoyed.

Zhonglun Flower Steps
Located at the junction of Cailing Road and Yunding Middle Road, the Zhonglun Flower Steps are a relaxing landscape highlight of the trail, combined with the Z-shaped square design of the roadside terrain, the triangular plum blossom bushes paved with steps become a well-defined flower step trail connecting the trails, and the surrounding is also planted with palace pink sheepshoe nails and yellow flower bluebells, when the early spring comes, the pink yellow petals move with the wind, like a dream.
East Hill Ring Corridor
Located in the Dongshan Reservoir, the Dongshan Ring Corridor
It is also one of the most worthy points of the trail
The node is located in the 1.5-kilometer viewing trail surrounding the Dongshan Reservoir, combining the surrounding mountains, water and stones to create a wild and natural hydrophilic landscape.
Falling feathers and ornamental grasses are planted along the waters of the Ring Corridor, which will form a unique landscape of the Ring Corridor in autumn and winter.

It is worth mentioning that the Linhai Line is connected with the Yunhai Line in the Genting Section and realizes "one dual use" with the Air Bike Lane. In the construction of the Linhai Line, the 7.7-kilometer-long aerial bicycle lane has also been upgraded at the same time, and the half-width lane has been changed to a trail. "Depending on the function, we have also adjusted the materials used on the pavement." According to the designers, the bicycle path adopts a thin layer of modified epoxy ceramic particles with good anti-slip to increase the safety of riding, and the walking path uses a thin layer of synthetic material with microelastic material to improve walking comfort.

Following the design concept of "people-oriented", the Linhai Line reasonably controls the longitudinal slope of the whole line, and there are also 8 barrier-free elevators along the way, as well as supporting service facilities such as stations, public toilets (including barrier-free toilets), rest platforms, convenience service points, and health huts to meet the needs of the elderly, children, the disabled and other groups of people. It is reported that a total of 36 entrances and exits are set up in the first phase of the Linhai Line, of which 23 are barrier-free entrances and exits, which is convenient for the public to enter the nearest trail.
