The Southern Song Dynasty calligrapher Zhang Jizhi, "big characters are quaint and elegant", refreshing and not conventional.
The history of the book records that the Northern Song Dynasty had four Song families, namely Su Huang Mi Cai, and in the early Southern Song Dynasty, Zhao Zhuo promoted the retro style and advocated both Kai and Cao, and in the middle period, there were "Zhongxing Four Greats", that is, Lu You, Fan Chengda, Zhang Xiaoxiang, and Zhu Xi, ushered in the heyday of Southern Song culture, and at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, with the turmoil of the social situation, the culture continued to decline, and calligraphy naturally began to decline. As a calligrapher and innovator in the late Southern Song Dynasty, Zhang Jizhi tried to turn the tide and devote his life to the revitalization of calligraphy art, in order to change the scene of the decline of calligraphy.

Several people in the world painted Gu Song, and Bi Hong was already old and Wei Yan was young. The long wind of the pen blooms, and the whole hall is full of colors and magic. Two plants are tragically cracked with moss bark, and the flex iron staggers back into the tall branches. The white destroyed the decaying bone dragon and tiger died, and the black fell into the yin and thunderstorm. The Songgen Hu monk was lonely, and Pang Meihao's head was not living. Favoring the right shoulder and exposing his feet, the leaf pine nut monk fell in front of him. Wei Hou Wei Hou counted to see each other, I have a good eastern silk, the weight does not reduce the splendid embroidery section. The light has been made messy, please put the pen straight. Zhang Jizhi wrote at the age of seventy-two, when the rain was moldy, the dragon danced, drank with guests, and drunkenly played books.
In this volume, Zhang Jizhi uses both flank and center forward, and the contrast between stroke thickness and thickness is strong. At the end of this volume, Zhang Jizhi signed: "Zhang Jizhi wrote at the age of seventy-two. When the rain is moldy, the locust dragon dances, and the guests are drunk in the play book. ”
Zhang Jizhi called it "a book of drunken play with guests", and it seems that he is not drunk.
