Where did the kids go?
The students of a private kindergarten in the village told us that there were students, but they were reluctant to go to the village primary school.
Some children have to go to schools farther away, and some parents have desperately bought houses in the city and taken their children to school in the city.
The reason is well known, the quality of education in rural primary schools has declined year after year, and parents are afraid of delaying their children's future.
The decline in the quality of teaching is, of course, due to the continuous departure of excellent teachers, or to the county seat, or to better schools.
The children who remain in the rural primary schools are either left-behind children or their parents cannot leave the land, and these children and parents feel that everything is so far away from the education that is in full swing in the city.

This is exactly the dilemma that all rural education in China is facing.

Second, experts: without going to college, farmers can change their lives when they go to the city to work?
In the mid-1990s, when the rural schools produced countless outstanding talents, almost 1/3 of the students in almost every class in all the universities in the country at that time were from the countryside.

Fourth, the rural education model is unfair: the family education of rural children is almost blank

This is the difficult reality facing rural education, but also the root cause of deep and difficult to solve, the family education of rural children, almost blank.
Because rural children are basically in the grandparents' "generation-skipping parenting" (why not call it intergenerational education, because the grandparents of rural children, the basic level of education is low, only feeding, can not manage education), from childhood lack of parental companionship, and even the entire primary school stage is basically no family education, which leads to the learning habits and personality cultivation of these rural children, compared to those in the city, are absolutely weak.

V. How to solve the dilemma of rural education?
