Generation Z is pouring into the workplace, employment relations are undergoing reform, Zhaopin has insight into the changes in the form of the workplace, and puts forward the concept of "liquid workplace": enterprises are a community composed of individuals, and under the rapid changes of the uncertain era, Generation Z in the workplace continues to integrate and collide in a more flexible employment relationship, releasing greater energy. On the day of the event, experts and scholars, enterprise representatives, and representatives of Peking University students discussed the topic of "liquid workplace". Professor Yao Yang, dean of the National Institute of Development Studies at Peking University, expressed his expectations for Generation Z: society is accelerating change, and the development of society has always been a "back wave" pushing the "front wave". Contemporary young people are different from young people in the 80s and 90s, they are more assertive, making it more difficult for employers to manage. Employers can't look at and manage Gen Z with old ideas. After all, the world is young, so young people should be allowed to determine the direction of society.

Yao Yang expressed his views on practical issues such as the income and overtime of people in the current workplace. He mentioned that a large amount of overtime will lead to inefficient work, and to a certain extent, it also reflects the poor running-in between employees and work, and also reflects that enterprises have not played an effective management role, and too much overtime of employees has actually caused the loss of company resources. As an employer, you should think about how to improve the employee experience and work efficiency. In this regard, Yao Yang gave the example of remote work. Under the epidemic, many enterprises at home and abroad have chosen to work remotely, employees are not supervised, feel the trust of the organization, they will work harder to "return" the company, and then work efficiency has been improved.

In addition, many college graduates do not have their salaries up to expectations, and they feel anxious as a result. Yao Yang said that the low income of graduates reflects the "popularization of knowledge", because the number of university graduates has increased, and even professors are not as "rare" as many years ago, which is the necessary stage of social development. Yao Yang advised young people that what happened at the age of 22 could not determine a lifetime. Young people have a long way to go in the future, so there is no need to be anxious and complain, but to actively adapt to society.
