Approaching the Spring Festival, the atmosphere of reunion and festivity has become stronger, but at the Huangyan Aid Station in Zhejiang, there are still a group of homeless people who are homeless. Recently, with the efforts of the staff, Zhu Xiaobin, who has been separated from his relatives for 18 years, was finally reunited with his relatives in Huangyan
In 2011, Zhu Xiaobin, a 37-year-old middle-aged man from Linquan, Anhui Province, wandered to Huangyan, and the district rescue station personnel saw that he had no cognitive ability, so they accepted and nursed him, ending Zhu Xiaobin's six or seven years of wandering career. For 11 years, the staff of the aid station has tried every means and used various channels to insist on finding his relatives. Finally, in recent days, with the help of new DNA technology, Zhu Xiaobin finally got his wish and found his family.
On January 17, Zhu Xiaobin's brother, cousin, sister-in-law and other relatives rushed to the district rescue station early in the morning. When the younger brother Zhu Xiaoti saw Zhu Xiaobin, who had been lost for many years, after a "brother", he was gagged for a while. His cousin hugged Zhu Xiaobin's shoulders, and his hands couldn't help but tremble. This is the first time that Zhu Xiaobin has met his relatives in Huangyan after being separated from his relatives for eighteen years.
"Thanks to the party and the government for taking care of my brother for more than ten years, this year we can finally be reunited..." When I heard that Zhu Xiaobin was living on the streets of Huangyan, the police found him and sent him to the district aid station, my cousin quickly thanked him, and the man who was nearly half a hundred years old choked up as he spoke.
In the early years, Zhu Xiaobin, who was about 20 years old, went out for the first time and went to Hebei to work. When he returned, the family noticed that his mental state seemed to be in trouble, but he had always been silent and no one noticed more. After that, he went out several times one after another, until one day eighteen years ago, after Zhu Xiaobin went out, he heard nothing and completely lost contact. Relatives have been searching for many years in Anhui, and they have heard all kinds of information and want to go to Guangdong to find people, but they did not expect to find him in Huangyan in the end.
For 11 years, the staff of the district aid station tried their best to help Zhu Xiaobin find his relatives. "We have searched for him many times through today's headlines and the search for relatives, and we have done DNA five or six times, and we have recently achieved results, hoping that he can go back for a reunion year." Zheng Lingwei, director of the district aid station, patted Zhu Xiaobin's shoulder and added, "This year, the district public security sub-bureau and the district civil affairs bureau jointly developed the wisdom of finding relatives and rescued in Zhejiang to run the 'Lighthouse Project • Happy Home' successfully launched, in addition, through new means such as face recognition system, helped many homeless people find their way home, and created a Taizhou model for rapid wisdom to find relatives."
"Over the years, our DNA technology has been constantly updated, and with each update, we will contact the district aid station to re-collect blood samples. This time, before the Spring Festival, we can help Zhu Xiaobin find his relatives in Anhui through DNA technology, and we are also very happy! Wei Wenyu, a police officer of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Huangyan Public Security Bureau, said.
Before leaving, knowing that there are still 11 homeless people who have not found their relatives, Zhu Xiaobin's brother felt the same feeling and offered to donate 5,000 yuan as a special fund, hoping that this money would help other homeless people. The Huangyan Charity Volunteer Association accepted the donation and said it would be used according to his personal wishes.
