"No one is not afraid of death, but if you have faith in your heart, you are not afraid." This is the 16-year-old Communist Party member Yin Lingzhi's answer in the face of the enemy's knife.

Standing on the pile beam in Shouyang County, Shanxi Province, overlooking the White Horse River, a majestic white building comes into view, which is the Yin Lingzhi Memorial Hall.

On March 12, 1931, Yin Lingzhi was born into a poor family in Zhaojia'an Village, Shouyang County. In 1940, after the anti-Japanese work was carried out in Zhao Jia'an, Yin Lingzhi's father, Yin Ergong, secretly joined the Communist Party of China and served as the director of the village anti-corruption federation.

Under the influence of his father, Yin Lingzhi, who was less than ten years old, often helped his father to do some work within his ability: sending military shoes, boiling water for anti-Japanese cadres, leading the way... When Yin Lingzhi was 13 years old, there was an anti-Japanese primary school in the village, and she was the first to enter the school to study and served as the head of the children's regiment. She organized and led her friends to stand guard, send intelligence, monitor traitors, publicize anti-Japanese resistance, and fulfill their duties.

In August 1945, the arduous War of Resistance Against Japan was finally won. Yin Lingzhi, who was only 14 years old, was elected deputy director of the Zhao Jia'an Village Women's Rescue Association. In large-scale production and labor, Ganoderma lucidum spinning thread and cultivating land are all at the forefront.

In the winter of 1946, the Nationalist Yan Xishan's Forty-ninth Division launched a "water flood" offensive east of Shouyang County. Yin Lingzhi's father, Yin Ergong, disregarded his personal safety and secretly returned to the village to lead the masses in the struggle against the civil war. Unexpectedly, as soon as he entered the village, Yin Ergong was captured by the landlord's armed forces and eventually killed by Yan Jun. The father was brave and righteous, sowing the seeds of revolution in the depths of Yin Lingzhi's soul, Yin Lingzhi wiped away his tears and continued to fight with his 12-year-old sister and 3-year-old brother. In April 1947, at the age of 16, Yin Lingzhi officially joined the Communist Party of China and became the director of the village women's association.

In July 1947, the People's Liberation Army stationed in Shouyang County was ordered to fight on other battlefields, and the Yan army made a comeback. In order not to let the enemy snatch a grain of grain, Yin Lingzhi repeatedly took people back to the village to "grab the autumn", and the names of Zhao Jiayuan Village and Yin Lingzhi made Yan Jun hate it to the bone. On October 19, when Yin Lingzhi once again led the masses back to the village to grab the harvest, he was informed by the traitors, and a battalion of the Yan army pounced on Zhao Jia'an like a hungry wolf. Yin Lingzhi was unfortunately arrested to protect the grain in the village.

The enemy was both soft and hard, forcing her to say where the grain was hidden and the list of Communists, but she refused to answer. The Officer of the Yan Army was extremely vicious and ordered his minions to hang Yin Lingzhi up, and cruelly went out Yin Lingzhi's right eye and broke her left leg. In the 15 days and nights that Yin Lingzhi was detained, he was interrogated seven or eight times in a row, but he never revealed a word to the enemy.

On November 3, 1947, Yan Jun set up a execution ground at ruixiang Temple in Zongai Town, and first stabbed several Communists who refused to "confess" with bayonets to threaten her, Yin Lingzhi was furious and slapped Yan Army officers twice in public. In the end, Yin Lingzhi was cut off three times by the enemy. At the age of 16, Yin Lingzhi sacrificed his precious life for the liberation of the Chinese people.

In March 1965, the Shanxi Provincial People's Committee approved Yin Lingzhi as a revolutionary martyr.
