On the morning of January 18, Ke Yanpeng, secretary of the district party committee, came to the district comprehensive service center for mass petitions and appeals to conduct field research on the implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on strengthening and improving the work of people's letters and visits, receiving visiting people on the spot, listening to the demands of the masses face to face, and helping the masses solve practical difficulties.
In the visiting reception room, Ke Yanpeng received the grass-roots masses from Guiyu Town, coordinated the traffic accident problems they reported, and implemented that the public security departments should deal with them in a timely manner according to law and properly solve the problem of treatment expenses for the injured; they should provide judicial assistance in accordance with the relevant procedures to help petitioners solve the problem of living difficulties. At the same time, petitioners are required to actively cooperate with the coordination and handling of public security departments, and reflect demands in accordance with law. He stressed: As the Spring Festival approaches, all localities and departments should attach great importance to the masses' petitions and demands, conscientiously investigate and resolve problems involving people's livelihood, and persist in combining "reasonableness and law" with regard to issues involving law and litigation, properly solve problems, let the masses live with peace of mind, and jointly create a peaceful and warm festive atmosphere.
Ke Yanpeng stressed that all localities and departments must thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on strengthening and improving the work of people's petitioning, in accordance with the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the provincial and municipal party committees, with a high degree of political sensitivity and responsibility, adhere to the people-centered, take the effective solution of the reasonable demands of the masses as a real matter of people's livelihood, further improve the rate of petitioning cases, enhance the sense of gain and happiness of the masses, and pay close attention to the work of petitioning. Ensure the political security of the whole region and the harmony and stability of the overall social situation, and create a social environment for the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Party.
