Chapter 3: My Plane

Chinese and Western bilingual serial Little Prince

It took me a long time to understand where I was coming from. The little prince, who asked me many questions, never seemed to hear mine. They were words spoken randomly, which gradually revealed everything to me. Thus, when he first distinguished my plane (I will not draw my plane, because it is too complicated a drawing for me) he asked me:

It took me a long time to figure out where he came from. The little prince asked me many questions, but he didn't seem to hear me at all. Some of his inadvertent words made me slowly figure out where he came from. So when he first caught a glimpse of my plane (I won't draw my plane because it's too complicated for me), he asked me:

"What is that?"

"That's not one thing. That flies. It's an airplane, my plane.

"What's this thing?"

"It's not a 'thing'. It can fly. This is an airplane. It's my plane. ”

I was proud to tell him he was flying. He then shouted:

"How!" Have you fallen from the sky?

"Yes," I said modestly.

-¡Ah, how curious!

I was proud to tell him I could fly. So he exclaimed:

"How? Did you fall from the sky? ”

"Yes." I said in a low profile.

"Huh? It's weird. ”

And the little prince gave a funny laugh that irritated me a lot. I like my misfortunes to be taken seriously. He added:

The little prince let out a crisp laugh, which made me angry. I want others to take my misfortune seriously. Then he said:

"Then you also come from heaven?" What planet are you from?

I spotted a light in the mystery of his presence and asked him sharply:

"Do you come from another planet?"

"Then you too are from heaven!" Which planet are you on? ”

I vaguely found some clues about the secret where he came from, so I suddenly asked:

"Did you come from another planet?"

But he didn't answer me; He slowly moved his head looking intently at my aircraft.

But he didn't answer my question. He nodded slightly as he looked at my plane and continued:

"It's true, on top of that, you can't come from far away...

"Yes, in this thing, you can't have come from a long distance..."

And it sank into a dream for a long time. Then pulling out of his pocket my lamb ached in the contemplation of his treasure.

Then he fell into contemplation for a long time. Then, I took out of my pocket the lamb I had drawn and watched his treasure fall into the gods.

Imagine how I was intrigued by this semi-confidence about the other planets. I therefore made an effort to know something else:

"Where do you come from, little boy?" Where is "your house"? Where do you want to take my lamb?

You can imagine how intriguing I am by such seemingly untrue statements about "other planets." So I'm eager to know more of the secrets:

"Where did you come from, my little one?" Where is your home? Where are you going to take my lamb? ”

After meditating silently he answered:

"The good thing about the box you have given me is that at night it will serve as a house.

"Definitely. And if you are good I will also give you a rope and a stake to tie it during the day.

He pondered for a moment, then replied to me:

"Fortunately, I have the box you gave me, and I can use it as a house for the lamb at night."

"Of course. If you like, I'll draw you another rope that you can tie during the day. Plus a small stake. ”

This proposition seemed to shock the little prince.

"Tie it up?" What a weird idea!

"If you don't tie it up, who knows where will go and you will get lost...

My friend let out a laugh again.

My suggestion seems to be a little disgusting to the little prince:

"What a strange idea to tie it up!"

"If you don't tie it up, it runs around, and it loses..."

This friend of mine laughed again:

"And where do you want me to go?"

"I don't know, anywhere. Right way forward...

"Where do you want it to go?"

"No matter where. It kept running..."

Then the little prince pointed out with gravity:

"It doesn't matter, my land is so small!"

At this time, the little prince said solemnly:

"It doesn't matter, I'm very small there!"

And he added, perhaps, with a little melancholy:

"Right, way forward... you can't go very far.

Then he added with a little sadness:

"Keep going forward, and you won't go far..."
