10 tables are square, more than 10 small painters spread out the drawing paper, wielding animation pens, the background is mostly blue or white, and many pictures can still see Chinese red. On January 18, in the headquarters of the Iranian Youth Intellectual Development Institute in the center of Tehran, the capital of Iran, the "Together to the Future" Iranian teenagers released the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Dream Painting Exhibition, and Iranian young painters painted for the Beijing Winter Olympics on the spot.

Mohammed Mahdi Sadji, 12, said the Olympics were "five continents united and a symbol of peaceful coexistence". Like many children, he drew the Olympic Rings, the Snowman and the Athletes.

8-year-old Hani Bayati's painting became the focal point of the field, attracting many people to take pictures of her paintings. She spread the canvas in blue to outline the snow-capped mountains, which were dotted with white specks as snowflakes. Whether wearing skates, stepping on a snowboard, or holding hands with a snowman, the joy of ice and snow is concentrated on the paintings. What is particularly striking is that the Chinese and Iranian flags at the top of the painting are arranged on the left and right, and in the middle is the Olympic five-ring flag, and she carefully draws five colors on the pattern on the teacher's mobile phone. The Chinese guests who came to the exhibition also wrote the chinese characters "Beijing" on her painting.

Behind them, 44 Olympic-themed works collected in advance of the exhibition are on display. The young painters come from more than 20 cities in Iran, the youngest being 5 years old and the oldest being 17 years old.

Three Iranian athletes who are about to compete in the Beijing Winter Olympics also visited the exhibition. Alpine skier Attifa Ahmadi said: "It's fantastic to introduce the Winter Olympics in Iran and show the Olympic culture to the Iranian people. ”

Ahmadi said the Beijing Winter Olympics would be her first trip to the Olympics. "Every athlete has been fighting for four years to participate in the Winter Olympics, training intensively. In these four years, I have also put in a lot of effort. ”

Ahmadi said: "I am very happy to be in China to participate in this important competition. What I want to say is that it is every athlete's dream to go to the big stage of the Olympics ( to show yourself ) , and I hope that athletes can shine on this Olympic stage. ”

Alpine skier Hussein Saway Shemsaki competed in two Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, in 2010 and sochi, Russia, in 2014. He told Xinhua News Agency: "After the new crown epidemic has disturbed the world, all countries should participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics, and athletes should gather together as before to witness the unity and friendship between countries." ”

As the Chinese New Year approaches, "I hope that Chinese friends will be happy, healthy and successful in the new year, and that people of all countries can coexist peacefully." Shemsaki said.

Cross-country skier Saeed Sattar Said will compete in the Winter Olympics for the fourth time, but the veteran is still excited to see the children painting, constantly taking pictures of the children and their paintings.

"It is a great pleasure to represent Iran at the Winter Olympics in China," he said. I hope that all those who come to the Winter Olympics will join hands and that the game will be well organized, and that the message to the world should be peace and friendship. ”

Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Iran, said that the works exhibited today revolve around the Imagination and Creation of the Beijing Winter Olympics, interpret the Olympic spirit from the perspective of children, and express the sincere wishes of Iranian children for the Beijing Winter Olympics, as well as their dreams and visions for a better future. In the process of preparing for the Beijing Winter Olympics, China has received strong support and assistance from the international community and has received good wishes from friends from all over the world, including Iran. We believe that the Beijing Winter Olympics will certainly build a bridge of friendship and a platform for cooperation between the Chinese and the people of other countries.

Iranian Olympic Committee President Reza Saleh Ameli said that there are many ski enthusiasts all over Iran, skiing is booming in Iran, and hopes that the Beijing Winter Olympics will help enhance the status of Iranian skiing in Asia and even the world.

He said he would be with Iran's Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Hamid Sajadhi, in a group to attend the Beijing Winter Olympics, "and our presence conveys two messages: first, we believe that sport is a platform for developing relations between countries; second, no one can undermine the will of all countries to unite."
