According to the "Road Administration" and other records, Zhongshan Avenue was built in 1929, and then in order to facilitate transportation, the Jinpu Railway Capital Wharf was built in the local area, and this wharf was renamed Jinpu Railway Zhongshan Wharf in 1936.
In order to facilitate passengers to buy tickets and ride, at the same time built a capital station, and this station building is actually the current Little Red Chamber, which is the origin of the real reliable origin of the Little Red Chamber.
As for the other legends of the Little Red Chamber, such as the temporary headquarters built for the Feng'an Grand Ceremony, and the Wang Pseudo-office that is the most mysterious and mysterious, in fact, there is no clear source of the original materials, which is completely anecdotal legend.
Roughly speaking, the Little Red House was originally an office building of the Jinpu Railway, with ticket sales on the first floor and a waiting room and a waiting room on the second floor, but before it could be used, it was occupied by the Japanese army invading China.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Little Red Building was assigned to the then capital power plant as an office location.

After the completion of Zhongshan Avenue, people entered the city of Nanjing from Rujiangmen, and at that time, for convenience, another Jinpu Railway Capital Wharf was built, and in order to prevent confusion, it was renamed "Zhongshan Wharf" and "Capital Station" in 1936.

At that time, people in the Little Red House could buy tickets at Zhongshan Wharf to go north, they could also buy ferry tickets here, and even had the consignment service of gifts, and the Little Red House was a transportation hub at that time.
Not long after the Xiaohonglou opened for business, the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in Nanjing fell, the Xiaohonglou fell into the hands of the Japanese Kou, after the Anti-Japanese War, the Xiaohonglou was handed over to the capital power plant for use, followed by the office building of the Nanjing Xiaguan Power Plant, until the relocation of the power plant in 2009, the Xiaohonglou was closed.
