Xinjiang has a special geographical location, bordering the Soviet Union, which can be described as a distant emperor, and Sheng Shicai did not want to be restrained by the old Chiang Kai-shek, so he took the Soviet Union as a backer. Therefore, at that time, he still belonged to the progressives, the United Russian Communist Party, and belonged to the united front object that could be won.
At that time, the Purpose of the Red Army's Western Route Army's Western Expedition was to open up a passage with the Soviet Union, but it failed to do so, and there were only more than 400 people left with 20,000 people and horses.
However, Chen Tanqiu, who works in Xinjiang, has long said that Sheng Shi is a person who can turn his face faster than he can turn a book, so he must remain vigilant against him. At that time, the central authorities also left Mao Zemin, who had originally gone to the Soviet Union for medical treatment, in Xinjiang and served as the director of Sheng Shicai's Finance Department to help Sheng Shicai rectify and develop the economy.
It can be seen that at that time, our party regarded Sheng Shicai as "its own person." Because of this layer of relationship, Sheng Shicai received a lot of assistance from the Soviet government, so he was anti-Chiang Kai-shek at that time.
However, the situation soon changed greatly, the Soviet-German war broke out, the Soviet Union began to retreat, and the Red Army in the Far East of the Soviet Union was transferred back to participate in the defense of Stalingrad. Soviet aid to Xinjiang also stopped.
Sheng Shicai, who had a milk, felt that the Soviet Union was bound to lose, and at this time, hu zongnan, the old Chiang's concubine troops, had already entered Longxi and controlled the Hexi Corridor. A posture that will enter Xinjiang at any time.

After Chen Tanqiu and the others were arrested, the enemy first lured them with high-ranking officials Houlu, and after being severely rejected, they tortured them to the fullest, but they could not help these iron-boned heroes at all.
On March 27, 1943, Sheng Shicai ordered the killing of Chen Tanqiu, Mao Zemin and others. The executor is Li Yingqi, because he is a tool for killing people in Sheng Shicai.
After Li Yingqi received Sheng Shicai's order, he handed the order to Zhang Sixin, the law enforcement captain. Chen Tanqiu, Mao Zemin and others bravely died in prison.

This "conspiracy riot" was carefully designed by Sheng Shicai, who slandered Chen Tanqiu and others for colluding with his sister-in-law and tutor to prepare for the riot inside and outside, so he arrested them.
Sheng Shicai, of course, made such a move, mainly to test the Soviet Union. If the Soviet Union reacted, he might continue to cooperate with the Soviet Union and release Chen Tanqiu and others. But at that time, the Soviet Union did not move at all, and Sheng Shicai finally chose old Chiang Kai-shek.
After receiving Theimoer's important information, Liu Huping immediately reported to the Ministry of Public Security and dispatched elite forces to arrest Li Yingqi with the cooperation of the Beijing public security.
However, Li Yingqi has not appeared since the time with Timur.
