Sandberg: What makes you is the suffering you go through

author:The hermit is white

Shirley, who served as director of the Clinton Administration's Office of the Treasury Secretary's Office, vice president of Google's global online sales and operations division, and is now the chief operating officer of Meta (Facebook). Sandberg, in a lecture at the University of Berkeley, talked about his experience of losing a loved one and concluded: "What makes you is the suffering you have experienced." Every setback we experience is a seed of resilience in the depths of our souls.

Indeed, there are many pains in life. Work without work, career failure, illness, flying disasters, being despised, losing dignity, etc., all make us feel pain.

But Sandberg tells us that just as our bodies have a physiological immune system, our brains have a mental immune system, and there are steps we can take to turn it on. Her advice is:

1. If the first choice does not exist, we will use the second choice.

2) Don't be harsh and hurt yourself, thinking that you are bad at everything.

3, realize that something happening will not affect the whole of life.

4, know that sadness will not last forever, you still have the ability to be happy.

5) Try to identify the things that make you grateful.

6. Strive to look back on the moments of happiness every day.

7. Remember to celebrate every little blessing in your life.
