It's official: Loaned centre-back Dean Sanderson returns to Wolves

In the first half of the season, the 22-year-old Sanderson made 16 appearances for Birmingham, helping the team achieve seven clean sheets. Previously, he was also loaned to Cardiff City and Sunderland for exercise. Sanderson joined Wolves at the age of 8 and renewed his contract with Wolves for 4 years this summer.

With Seth going to the Africa Cup of Nations, Borley and Moskra injured and Wolves tight at centre-back, Sanderson's return will give Laje a plug-and-play youngster at centre-back.

Wolves technical director Scott Silas said: "Being able to play in the Championship every week like Sanderson has been a big boost to his development. He's been on loan for 2 years and now it's a good opportunity to recall him and see where he's grown, as there is a shortage of manpower at centre-back and Sanderson has the hope of getting a chance to play, which is good for him and the club, and then let's see how things will go. ”
