(hereinafter referred to as "Oriental Pearl"), 600637.SH a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, issued an announcement this evening that the company recently received a written resignation from chairman Wang Jianjun. Due to the change of work, Wang Jianjun no longer serves as the secretary of the party committee of Shanghai Radio and Television Station (Shanghai Culture Radio, Film and Television Group Co., Ltd.) and the chairman of Shanghai Culture Radio, Film and Television Group Co., Ltd., and resigned as a director and chairman of oriental pearl new media co., ltd.
Oriental Pearl said that Wang Jianjun's resignation will not cause the number of the company's board of directors to fall below the statutory minimum number, therefore, the above resignation will take effect from the date of delivery, and Wang Jianjun will no longer hold any position in the company. The Board of Directors of the Company will add directors and elect the chairman of the board of directors as soon as possible in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Articles of Association and the Company Law.
