Father was an ordinary and industrious man. Although he has an extroverted personality, he is not good at words, and he has been diligent and honest all his life, and he is cautious in his work. He loves us very much, especially our family, for us he is always alone, silently carrying the burden of the whole family, putting the love for the whole family into action, never exposing. The father has no brothers, plus the grandfather, grandmother, mother, me, sister, brother, because the grandparents are nearly eighty years old, so the life of the family of seven, including eating, drinking, pulling, and sassing, must rely on the father to earn money to survive. In my memory, my father never had a leisure until the first three months of his death.
Father is a small four-wheel tractor driver, the body has been very good, usually a little sick, he never cared, never put it in his heart, is still busy. I think this may be the main reason for my father's death. (Because when my father first got sick, he just felt a little tired, but he still didn't pay attention to it as usual, so that he later turned from hepatitis B to liver cancer, which could not be treated.) ）
Father is the most helpful person in the village. In the village, my father had studied medicine, worked as a barefoot doctor, and was an expert in repairing agricultural machinery, so there were many people who asked my father for help, and my father was always responsive, and he never saw him reject others. Therefore, in the days when the father was with others, he was at peace with everyone in the village.
However, the disease does not fall on him because of the goodness of the people. I clearly remember that it was the twenty-sixth day of the first month of 1997, I had just returned home from work in the township government, my mother was cooking in the kitchen, her face was very ugly, she saw me come back and stopped me, told me that my father had cancer, in the advanced stage, could not operate, at most three months of life, my mother said with tears. When I heard this news, I was dumbfounded, and for a person who had just joined the work and had never encountered a big event, the tears suddenly came down. I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it, it was all true. Could it be that my father, who was still laughing with me the other day... Am I going to have no father from now on? But my mother's words could not help but be believed, not to mention that my uncle also came, he told me that all this was true, and he also told me that my grandfather also had cancer, and soon...
I don't know how I got to the church house, how did I come to my father, look at my father: Is this the father who once loved me deeply? Is this the one I'm going to lose—my father? It was only then that I suddenly noticed my father's old age: gray hair, deep wrinkles. An inexplicable remorse arose in his heart: as the eldest son, he was already in his twenties, and when he reached the age of self-reliance, he still had to rely on his father and rely on him to support him (including eating and dressing). At this time, my father saw me, came to me, pulled me aside, and said, "After work, quickly lead me to see the girl!" (Fathers have always been very fond of children, shortly after my daughter was born.) So I accompanied my father to my daughter's bed, and my father looked at his chubby, sleeping granddaughter, holding her little face in both hands, leaning down, and kissing her deeply, and he never thought that it would be the last time he would see his beloved granddaughter. Because soon he was lying on the bed, never to look at his granddaughter, who was deeply in love, my daughter.
In the days when I accompanied my father, my father was strong, although the torment of illness had made him unable to eat anything countless times, but he never cried out a pain, never groaned, and on that dull day, my father seemed to understand his illness, and called me to the bed countless times - his side, repeatedly told me to care more about my grandparents, filial piety, my mother had a bad temper, to be more considerate, not to provoke the old man to be angry, to know how to care more about my younger brothers and sisters...
The years have passed, my father's ashes have been buried next to the road north of the village, very close to the road, whenever I walk by, I can see my father's grave, always can't help but cry, once again think of my father's words, think of my father's kindness.
Like the fathers of countless jackie chan and jackie chan, the father is extremely ordinary and ordinary. But in my mind, my father is great, especially his way of life, his tolerance, his generosity, his kindness and his helpful character are not something that everyone can do, which is what I admire the most and praise the whole village.
