In May 2016, Yang Jitu, a farmer in Qianjiao Village, Huangyan City, Zhejiang Province, decided to renovate the old house and prepare to leave it for himself, these three earthen houses were bought by him in 1985 for 1,000 yuan, the family spent 30 years here, and now, his two sons have also married and had children, moved away from the old house, Yang Jitu in order not to increase the burden on his two sons, he is ready to move back to his hometown for the elderly.
The next day, the Yang family invited the excavator master, after the foundation of the old house was demolished, the excavator continued to operate on the homestead, digging to a depth of about two meters, suddenly encountered a hard stone, the Yang family and workers did not care too much, ready to let the excavator cover the soil back and then continue digging in another place.
Yang Nianzhi, the sharp-eyed son, found that there was a bright red in the black soil of the loess, he and his father went to check it out, but they did not look at the doorway, guessing that it might be a red box, so they filled in the soil and continued to work next to it.
That night, Yang Nianzhi called his brother Yang Nianhong and told his brother about the excavation of the red box; the brothers discussed and thought that when their father was young, it was almost a cemetery, and he suspected that this was not a red box, it might be a coffin. Father once said that he lived in this area when he was a child, the hillside behind him is full of large and small grave bags, people can often pick up ancient copper coins, utensils, etc., thinking that this coffin may be a cultural relic, the two brothers did not dare to delay, immediately let the father call the police. The next morning, the police came to the Yang family's old residence to check the situation, after removing the stone slab above, it was indeed a red coffin, and immediately contacted the relevant departments, the Cultural Relics Bureau received the news, and immediately dispatched a team of experts and an archaeological team.
After the arrival of the archaeological team, after studying this ancient tomb, it was found that there was a coffin next to this lipstick coffin, but this coffin was corroded and dilapidated, and the inside of the coffin had been looted by tomb robbers, and the lipstick coffin was preserved intact, and the bright red paint was not oxidized and corroded by the land, still like the newly brushed, which made people sigh magically.
Along with the two coffins unearthed together there is a stone inscription, after cleaning can still faintly distinguish the handwriting above, experts based on the Epitaph song Dynasty text preliminarily infer that this tomb is more than 800 years old, and this is a husband and wife burial tomb. It turned out that this tomb belonged to Zhao Bopeng and his wife, the county commander of Suzhou at that time, and everyone may not be familiar with this figure, but everyone must know his ancestor, Zhao Kuangyin, the founding emperor of the Great Song Dynasty, and experts said: The owner of the tomb is the seventh grandson of Song Taizu. At that time, after the Northern Song Dynasty was captured by the Southern Song Dynasty, the royal bloodline of the Zhao clan was not broken, and it fell to suzhou and Hangzhou to serve, and Zhao Bopeng also majored in the Huangyan Five Caves Bridge during his tenure in Suzhou, which has been used to this day, and now this bridge is also a key cultural relics protection unit in Zhejiang Province.
In the first year of the Qingyuan Dynasty, Zhao Bopeng Changzhou Guanman, on the way back to his hometown, his wife Li Shi was seriously ill, unable to defeat the fatigue of the carriages and horses, and died suddenly, and not long after, he also drove to the west of hehe and was buried with his wife in "the source of He Ao in Jinghua Township, Huangyan County", which is now the qianjiao village of Yutou Township, and this Zhao Bopeng was also a good official who benefited the people.
Knowing the identity of the owner of this ancient tomb, it is even more puzzling, why can the coffin buried in the ground for more than 800 years be so well preserved? Why did another coffin fall so bad?
