However, Gao Xianzhi had a direct superior, Anxi Jiedushi(anxi Jiedushi) envoy, Meng Lingshi (pronounced: cha), who was very unhappy to hear that his subordinates had crossed him and reported to the emperor;
Not only did he not come out to greet and offer condolences, but he also scolded Gao Xianzhi and said, "You are a person who eats inside and outside, who gave it to you by your officials, and even dared to report to the emperor without passing me, and you should be killed and shown to the public!"
However, not only was Gao Xianzhi not beheaded, But Emperor Xuanzong of Tang also directly appointed Gao Xianzhi as the envoy of the four towns of Anxi, sitting on an equal footing with his superiors.
In this matter, the key player is the supervision of the army Bian Lingcheng;
As Tang Xuanzong's confidant eunuch, if Fu Meng Lingzhi was well drawn together, no matter how many great achievements Gao Xianzhi made, these merits belonged to him;
Where is the opportunity for subordinates to grab credit?
So what happened after Gao Xianzhi successfully ascended to the throne?
Gao Xianzhi could have formed an alliance of interests with Bian Lingcheng, one person would fight and do, and the other would speak and perform, and he was also the emperor's confidant;

However, Gao Xianzhi was eventually framed to death by Bian Lingcheng;

Of course, Bian Lingcheng, the eunuch next to the emperor, did not have any good results, if such a person is good at the beginning and the end, then god really does not open his eyes?
Still in the battle of An Lushan against Chang'an, Bian Lingcheng betrayed his faith, fled to save his life, and was not tolerated by the emperor and beheaded to show the public.
Gao Xianzhi and his superiors made the same mistake, did not know how to win over the red people around the emperor, and led to the same failure in life;
And Bian Lingcheng, the character who was sent down, did not get a good ending.

What wisdom did the lessons of the ancients give us?
First, the big boss, the person in power, the confidant around the superior, is a key person;
If you want to be close to the center of power, want to be reused in the workplace, and want smooth information channels, you must not ignore the person next to the boss who offers advice;
It's one thing for you to look up to him, it's another thing if you don't need him;
Sometimes, the success of things lies in the words of this person.
Therefore, in the workplace, the leader of the highest level may not be difficult to serve, and the little ghost around him is even more difficult.
Second, no matter how well the subordinates do, they must remember that this credit does not belong entirely to themselves;
Although they are the main force of success, between themselves and their superiors, their own credit is only 30%, and 70% of the credit should be attributed to their superiors;
This is the invisible rule of the workplace.
Thinking that this matter is done independently, that is, 100% of their own credit, will often be hated by their superiors and find ways to eliminate you.
If you want to report safely, you must make sure that you have a reliable informant, that is, the help of the boss's confidants.
Third, if it is the same level of credit, the most critical factor is the boss's style of doing things;
He pays attention to fairness and justice, and convinces people with reason;
He is also nepotistic and likes to be licked by the people around him.
If the leader is fair and just, then if you want not to be robbed of merit by colleagues, you should make a record, through emails, meetings, reports, and leave a record of your work results;
At the same time, be sure to pay more attention to active communication, communication, so that the superior knows what you are doing.
And if the superior is nepotistic, and you do not have the power, relationship and trust of colleagues, you must learn to be defensive;
Important things are easily not discussed with others, only at the critical moment, in the meeting, when discussed together;
Or, at a certain moment, deliberately reveal some wrong information to the other party, give the other party a set, and lure the other party into the bait;
In short, we must focus on precautions.
Fourth, people who are good at planting stolen goods and framing, playing with power and unspoken rules can only gain momentum for a while, and cannot stay in the core for a long time;
Bian Lingcheng is the best example of this;
