As for the appearance time of the small revamp M3 and M4, it is expected to fall in 2023.
Of course, we have no way of knowing what the original planning for the small modification of the M3 car series is, but at least a few projects will be confirmed to be accompanied by the introduction of the M3 with small modifications. First of all, the original factory should replace the current iDrive 7 system on the M3 and M4 with the iDrive 8 infotainment system; in addition, the display interface of the digital dashboard may also be updated synchronously.
In terms of appearance, through the information released by BMW before, it seems that the M3 Touring will inherit the oversized double kidney design of the current G80 M3, and express the sense of speed through the full muscle lines of the whole car. As for the power part, it should be based on the current M3's 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder M Twin Power twin-turbo engine, with a maximum horsepower of 510 hp.
Since the current external M3 Touring will only be available in the Competition version, and the xDrive four-wheel drive system will be uniformly used, in this combination, it can also be speculated that its transmission system will be an 8-speed M Steptronic hand-integrated transmission. Although there is still not much news about M3 Touring, as the expected publication time is gradually approaching, it is believed that more information will flow out.
