The most striking change in the interior of the new Kodiak comes from the central control area. Different from the European version of the model, SAIC Volkswagen Skoda's new Kodiak applies a suspension design, which is more in line with the preferences of young users in China. Equipped with MOS 3.X new intelligent vehicle connection system, the 12.1-inch large-size suspension central control screen stands in the center of the instrument panel, firmly locking the visual focus, and the new shape of the 10.3-inch full LCD digital instrument, 10-color streamer atmosphere light, creating a full sense of technology and futurism.
The overall use of horizontal layout of the dashboard, combined with layered design, with different colors, materials, the middle by a metallic flying wing wrapping decorative strip through, simple, fashionable atmosphere highlighted. In terms of details, the same three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, steering wheel suspension rotary button, air conditioning outlet suspension paddle and KODIAQ exclusive brand of the European RS Sport model all reveal refinement and taste.
The new Kodiak offers one-piece sports seats in the front, with headrests leaning down to fit more closely to the curve of the occupant's body, and a large extension on both sides of the shoulders, back and cushions, with a better sense of wrapping, ergonomics and dynamic styling.
In terms of interior colours, the new Kodiak offers both all-black and black-brown paneling options, complemented by microfiber leather fabrics, punching processes and stitching in different colours. The warm colors and fine materials and workmanship of the large area make the warm visual appearance spontaneous. The Sport model, the Kodiak GT, offers a red and black panel interior that adds more sporty elements.
Since its launch, Kodiak has delivered more than 600,000 vehicles worldwide, sold nearly 200,000 units domestically, and won more than 40 international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award. The new Kodiak, which has been upgraded from the inside out, will bring a unique flagship driving experience to domestic users.
