There should be no one who has not seen "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is one of the four famous works in China, which tells the story of the three-legged standing and competing for supremacy during the Three Kingdoms period. If you talk about the Shu Kingdom, everyone may immediately think of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, but don't forget Liu Bei's son in the Three Kingdoms, Liu Chan. Among many readers of the Three Kingdoms, they all believed that Liu Chan, the lord of the Shu Han Dynasty, was just mud that could not support the wall, so in the future, good people would call Liu Chan "the Adou who could not be supported". Is the historical Liu Chan really and so incompetent? Is it really Ah Dou?

Chen Shou once commented on Liu Chan: Hou Director Xianxiang is the Prince of Reasoning, and Qiu Shu is the Queen of Fu Min. This means that if Liu Chan appoints a wise minister, he is a monarch who follows the truth; once he favors eunuchs and villains, he is a faint monarch. Liu Chan reigned for 40 years, and the first half of his ruling career was spent with the assistance of Zhuge Liang, Jiang Wan, Dong Yun and others, and there were not many opportunities to play, so everyone would think that he was "stupid".
When Liu Bei died of illness in the White Emperor's City, he entrusted Zhuge Liang with the great task and told him that if Liu Chan was not a virtuous person, you could completely manipulate the power. These few words made Zhuge Liang very moved, and decided to assist Liu Chan wholeheartedly, and trained him to be a virtuous person, and many times he consulted for Liu Chan, fought in Jiangshan, and participated in the Northern Expedition many times, hoping to complete Liu Bei's idea of unifying the Central Plains before his death. Zhuge Liang has always been like Liu Chan's supervisor, always supervising Liu Chan, but all kinds of affairs in the country are in his own hands. In that period, Zhuge Liang can be said to be well-organized in management, after experiencing many wars, his age also reached 54 years old, in that period, 54 years old is not a small age, and he has been leading the Shu army to fight in the Central Plains.
Before Zhuge Liang died, Ah Dou once dragged someone to ask Zhuge Liang a sentence, which meant almost "After you die, what will your son do?" This means that Ah Dou is very jealous of Zhuge Liang, after all, his own rights are very large, and to a certain extent, there is pressure on him, so he is worried that after Zhuge Liang's death, his son will replace Zhuge Liang and press him. So Zhuge Liang replied, "There are 800 trees in the house, which is enough to feed him." Therefore, after Zhuge Liang's death, Ah Dou was very happy to abolish his official position, but unfortunately after Zhuge Liang's death, Shu Han still perished quickly, because Shu Han insisted on the Northern Expedition for many years, and had long been deeply hurt, and when the enemy soldiers approached the city, Ah Dou had no advantage of fighting back, but no one expected that Ah Dou would directly choose to surrender.
It can be seen from this dialogue that the reason why Liu Chan asked this question was that he was afraid that after Zhuge Liang's death, Zhuge Liang's descendants would rely on his prestige in the Shu kingdom before his death to seize power, and Zhuge Liang, as a very intelligent person, naturally knew why Liu Chan would ask such a question, and his answer also made Liu Chan feel at ease. After Zhuge Liang's death, in order to consolidate his throne, Liu Chan separated the powers of the chancellor and restrained each other. In this regard, do you still think that Liu Adou is not smart?
