In this war that determines the life and death of the nation, many national heroes have emerged who have repaid the country with their deaths. In 1933, the Japanese army attacked Gubeikou. Seven Nationalist soldiers swore to defend the position to the death, killing and wounding a number of small devils, so angry that the Japanese army scolded people. Later, under the bombardment of the plane, they climbed up the hill, and the scene in front of them calmed the little devil who killed the red-eyed.
Since the September 18 Incident, the Japanese army has attacked all parts of northeast China, and because Chiang Kai-shek does not resist, the three northeastern provinces have fallen into the hands of the enemy. However, the Japanese army was not satisfied and was bent on expanding its achievements. In February 1933, the Japanese Kwantung Army invaded Rehe and soon advanced along the Great Wall. Chiang Kai-shek felt that the situation was serious and ordered the Chinese army to strengthen its guard around the Gubeikou area of the Great Wall to strictly prevent the surprise attack of the Japanese army.
The 145th Regiment of the 25th Division of the Nationalist Army was ordered to garrison the Gubeikou fortress of Longwangyu. Regiment Commander Dai Anlan carefully inspected the terrain and found that the open land high on Mao'er Mountain was very suitable for observing the enemy situation, and this place was quite difficult to walk, and it was a good position that was easy to defend and difficult to attack. Therefore, he arranged a seven-person reconnaissance team to be here in order to report on the battlefield situation at any time.
Early in the morning of March 11, under the heavy bombardment of artillery, the 8th Division of the Japanese Kwantung Army launched an attack on Gubeikou. For a time, the Chinese defenders' positions were filled with smoke, many fortifications were destroyed by artillery fire, and even the division commander Guan Linzheng was wounded by shrapnel and had to be replaced by Du Yuming. In the face of the devil's superior fire, Du Yu decided to save his strength and decided to withdraw his troops to the area around the South Tianmen Gate for defense. The company battalion received the order and quickly carried the gun and the gun to quickly move. Hat's seven-man reconnaissance squad could not receive orders because of the interruption of communications, and could only hold on to the spot.
When they reacted, they found that the main force had shifted to the rear, at this time a large number of Japanese troops were marching under their own eyes, and the ghosts in front had occupied the position of Longwangyu and were searching around. Because the location of the reconnaissance squad was very hidden, coupled with the fact that it was not easy to climb, the devil did not expect that someone would be on it.
Although they were in danger, the seven were not afraid at all, and they decided to take advantage of this good opportunity to strike hard at the Japanese army and let them taste the taste of being ambushed. On the afternoon of the 12th, the 16th Brigade of the Japanese Army planned to attack the Chinese army through Mao'er Mountain. The reconnaissance squad seized the opportunity, swept down with a machine gun, and the devils fell a large piece.
The fire from the mountain suppressed the Japanese movement at once. The Japanese soon organized a counterattack, and machine gun mortars hit the hill together. Fortunately, the terrain was powerful, the devils fought for an afternoon, charged several times, but failed to get close to the top of the mountain, but instead threw down a lot of dead bodies. The reconnaissance squad fought all afternoon, not only did not feel tired, but on the contrary, the more excited they became, and everyone had only one idea, that is, to aim carefully and strive for a shot and a devil.
On the 13th, the Japanese army, unwilling to lose, brought heavy artillery from the rear to bomb the top of the mountain, and then under the cover of heavy machine guns, the devils launched a wave of charge. But the heavy artillery did not help the devils, but the debris that collapsed made it more difficult to go up the mountain. The reconnaissance detachment took advantage of the Japanese army's slow climbing of the mountain, a machine gun strafing, the devils who hit the devils cried and shouted mothers, and many people slipped under their feet and rolled to the foot of the mountain. Although the devils were not afraid of death, in the face of the absolute terrain, they could only look at the national army on the mountain and scold, and there was no way at all.
In order to remove this eye nail, the Japanese army made a bloody payment in the afternoon and specially asked the superiors to transfer fighters. This time, the reconnaissance detachment was powerless and could only watch the bombing. The Japanese took advantage of this to launch a charge and rushed to the top of the mountain in one fell swoop. They thought they could still take a few prisoners to relieve their hatred, but the tragic situation on the top of the mountain surprised them.
On the top of the black smoke hill, there was no large force they had imagined, only seven mutilated bodies on the ground and broken machine gun rifles. The Japanese devils thought that only the Imperial Army could perform such a suicidal feat, but they did not expect that the weak Chinese army still had such warriors, and they immediately collected the remains of seven nationalist warriors and buried them thickly.
Now, in order to commemorate the feats of these seven warriors, the state has specially built a monument in the Gubeikou Martyrs Cemetery to record the heroic deeds, in order to let future generations not forget history and how the ancestors spilled blood in the sky.
