Focusing on the novel theme of "Great Wall Study", one of the trilogies of novels in the series, "The Phantom of the Fingerprint Tile", shows the persistent spirit represented by the Great Wall by depicting the Northern Qi fingerprint tile discovered by Bai Xiucai and Bai Dad; the second is "The Divine Beast Opens the Eyes" depicts the brotherhood of the two town tomb beasts, symbolizing the significance of national integration maintained by the Great Wall; the third is "The Legend of the General Building" unveils "How the Great Wall of Northern Qi and ming were built", "What are the famous battles in the history of Gubeikou" and "Why the Mongol cavalry can repeatedly break through the Great Wall to besiege the Beijing Division". What is the relationship between the General Building and the National Anthem" Four puzzles reproduce the wonders of "ancient and modern famous generals fighting against the Wo" on the General Building, and reproduce the historical footage of "building our flesh and blood into our new Great Wall".

Wu Xusheng, the author of the trilogy, graduated from Peking University majoring in historical geography and has been concerned for many years with archaeological achievements such as the Ming Great Wall and the Northern Qi Great Wall. When accumulating materials for the trilogy, he studied the "Geographical Investigation Report on the Ruins of the Ancient Great Wall in the Northern Mountains of Beijing", "Examination of the Ming Great Wall", "The Great Wall of Ming Ji Town - Archaeological Report from 1981 to 1987" and other materials, and inspected the Mutianyu Great Wall, Jiayuguan, Yumenguan and other places many times.

The story of the archaeological expedition is fascinating and is only the first step.
