(Editor / Shao Shuai) rider headlines learned that Tesla's Model 3, Model Y and other models due to low temperature caused problems in the heat pump system, once again dragging Tesla into the focus of public opinion.

According to foreign media sources, complaints about Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y heating and air conditioning systems in Canada have recently increased frequently, mainly involving the functional performance of the "HVAC system" of the two models in cold weather conditions. It is understood that the main reason for the failure of the heat pump is that the air inlet of the Tesla heat pump will be frozen due to low temperature weather, resulting in abnormal sensor data and the entire system is closed.
Despite the problem, Tesla has launched a newly pushed OTA update that shows that the new version of the system allows the heat pump to start smoothly at lower temperatures, so that users can start heating on the app in advance. But the problem is that if the temperature drops below -15 °C, the heat pump heating system may still fail. As of now, Tesla has not explained a solution to such more extreme situations.
