"戠" (zhi1), which is a ideographic word. There are many different ways to write the oracle bone "戠", the first is the shape of a "Ge" in the upper left part, on the right side of the "Ge" is a symbol similar to the "iron nail", the second is a symbol similar to "▽" on the left side of the "Ge", the third paragraph is to add a "mouth" under the second paragraph, the fourth paragraph is to rewrite the long handle of "Ge" in the third glyph into a diagonal painting, and the lower fork is rewritten as a diagonal stroke.
On the basis of inheriting the fourth glyph of the oracle bone, Jin Wen added a dot on each side of the character like "▽", some added a point to the following "mouth" (many scholars interpret the entire symbol on the left as "sound"), and the small seal was written as the huiyi character of "congyin congge", lishu is the second horizontal elongation of the "yin" character, and the "ge" character is connected horizontally, and the italic is written as "戠" after the change.
The original meaning of the character for "戠" is unclear, there are many opinions, and there is no consensus so far, but the following introduces the views of some scholars:
First, "戠" is a word related to astronomy, and Guo Moruo believes that "the sun has a sword" is "the sun has an eclipse". It is also believed that "戠" is "mole", "spot", "day with mole" is the sunspot activity recorded by ancestors.
Second, "Nichiren", Ye Yusen, etc. believe that it is a kind of sacrificial name in the Shang Dynasty.
Third, "戠" is the first word for "熾", which indicates golden yellow. "Cow" is the specific name of "burning color cow", and Shang Chengzuo and others believe that it may be a golden yellow cow used as a sacrifice. "Moon with a claw" refers to the "golden yellow" moon.
Fourth, "戠" is a kind of wooden stake, and the sharp symbol in the character means that the wooden stake is inserted into the soil.
Judging from the configuration of the oracle bone characters, "Ge" is a weapon, and the symbol similar to "iron nail" is in the lower part of Go's sharp weapon, indicating the deep wound formed after Go pecking at the human body, and the third and fourth "mouths" added below emphasize that this is the "wound" formed after Go's pecking. Jin Wen's "戠" is "congyin congge", which means the sound made when ge pecks at the human body.
"戠" is a side word as a "sound symbol", such as "識、幟,熾,職,織、樴、膱" and so on are derived from the word "戠".
