IT House January 17 news, at this year's CES, Dell has not released a new generation of Latitude notebooks, but Howey revealed some specifications of the series of notebooks, saying that latitude 5000, 7000 and 9000 series will be equipped with Howey 1080p webcam, upgraded from 720p to 1080p.

Officially, the Dell Latitude 5000, 7000 and 9000 series will be equipped with the Howey OV02C image sensor, the industry's first 1/7-inch 2MP sensor designed for notebooks with ultra-thin bezels. Delivering a frame rate of 60 frames per second and excellent pixel performance in Y-module sizes as thin as 3 mm, the sensor meets the needs of high-screen ratio designs and enables such high functionality in ultra-small size wafers thanks to Howey Group's PureCel Plus-S chip stacking technology.
According to Howard Huang, Dell's chief camera designer, the new OV02C was chosen because only this image sensor offers both small pixel size and high resolution in an ultra-small form factor, enabling thin and light laptops to achieve vivid, high-quality video and image capabilities.
IT House understands that Dell only released the XPS 13 Plus notebook at CES, and the rest of the new products are expected to be released later.
